Cata skills feels underwhelming (not to mention huge sp consumptions) though overall I loved the overhaul patch. any thoughts on cataphract?

Garbage af damage, if a chaplain is present in the party I’d just auto attack whenever rush is on cooldown since its faster and does more damage than using any other cata skills. Only reason to take cata atm is for PvP or if you feel like running in the 90s.

Only thing worth using in cata tree is trot lel, I rarely use rush because of mana consumption and mediocre dmg. I hope they buff cata dmg in the near future.
Just have a at least +8 violet/orange weapon and you’ll see the difference…
I wore a +11 reine pike and attributed the skills to lvl 50 and boy was it still garbage, the only thing adding actual damage to your skills was the +2k blessings from the pardoners.
Just get a stage 10 Regard Horn Pike… and you’ll see how many overkills you’ll dish out on popolions!

My cata is only good for farming lv140 dungeon atm lol. Need to party up for everything else.
I love cata, but I had no choice but pick hoplite 3 instead. Finestra + Spear Lunge combo make Lancer’s skills do an awesome amount of dmg
Haven’t used my cata outside of daily siau since renewal yet, but trying to use your garbage skills (including rush), instead of just putting on cafrisun and AAing to the win, results in a massive dps loss.

I’m a returning player so my items are outdated. lv 330 cata with +9 cata pike. but still, sw3-cata3-dragoon-lancer. cata skills are garbage af, double slash is stronger than earthwave and doomspike. hell even normal atk with buffs is stronger than both. feelsbadman.
@ Topic, wasn’t the [death] of Cataphract known for a while now? 
Except you can’t because Overkills only show up within a certain level range of your target. A Lv315+ character (to equip RHP) won’t see that on the regular field Popolions.

Joking still love my cata but it IS extremely weak. When I see fencers doing 555k it makes me weep.
