Oh bro… I feel you.
I was desperate to reach lancer, now I just use rush, and the Lancer skills… RIP Cataphract.
Today i got a Cata lv130 on my party in one of my char’s runs. He just spammed Double Slash and basic attacks. I’ve asked him why he din’t use his Cata skills, he said that his basic attack together with buffs deals twice more damage than his skills.

I went Cata 3 just for the trot lel, my normal atk with buffs is much stronger than cata skills. im just using them for mobbing with restrain.
I play cata3 templar, im at 291 , im very comfortable with my high dex cata, it’s seem autoattack is more effective than skills, using skills burn all my sp while autoattacking with buffs give me more damage, fast attack speed with high dex.
