I would like to see a way to change font size in the game. It’s too dang small. It’s killing my eyes. Both the chat from other players as well as from the NPCs it’s so tiny. I can’t even read the tutorials and help windows or quest dialog or anything. Help lol.
i guess trying to play on 4k resolutions can be disadvantageous sometimes…
You can try to change font in either
steamapps\common\TreeOfSavior\release\languageData\English\FontList.xml
or
steamapps\common\TreeOfSavior\release\languageData\DefaultFontList.xml
Thank you I will try that. I’m just playing on a laptop computer 15.6" monitor set at 1366 X 768 resolution. Playing in fullscreen mode. So I don’t think it’s my resolution or display settings as my laptop is old and there’s many people playing at even higher resolutions. The font is just small. I see a lot of other users complaining about it too - but I thought I’d make a post as well because the “squeaky wheel gets the grease”
What would I need to change in the font-list file exactly? I tried adding <font-size="21pt"> but it didnt seem to change anything.
try to change font itself, not just size. I havent tried myself, but you can try to change imc’s “book” font to something easier or more convenient, like Aerial or Courier or Impact or choose the one you like. You can see available fonts in your system in notepad or in %windir%\fonts folder.
