Cannoneer's shootdown skill question

with the attribute on, does shootdown skill makes flying mobs ground target?

like for example, if i use shootdown on flying mobs then use broom trap after, will the broom trap dmg the mobs? or they are still considered flying mobs and it wont dmg them at all.

But some people say this skill is bugged and not droping mobs to the ground, so will not be hit by ground skill.

I hope they fix… i not tested yet.

I can confirm it doesn’t work, basically as for now it only prevents them from moving for a set duration. Pretty disappointing.

Same, just tested it and it doesn’t work.
Broom trap doesn’t hit the mobs debuff by shotdown :confused:

Something is working, because cannon shot does ground target damage following shootdown.

such disappointment. i was hoping cannoneer would have some synergy with sapper and wugushi. oh well.

anyone knows if its a bug? or it is working as intended.

No idea, I think we should probably open a bug.
Since the description is either miss leading or the skill doesn’t work as intended.

Pretty sure cannon shoot is the only ability its meant to effect… terrible tooltip descriptions

so now, probably don’t waste points on shootdown. Judging form the attributes, it should allow us to make flying units become ground units,which will affected by ground skills. But, after reading this, oh gawd.

Someone told me before in another thread that it only helps negate the damage penalty for cannon shot against flying monsters and doesn’t really benefit other ground skills. :cry:

As the attribute describe it only make cannon shot do full dmg to flying unit
and as I and other cannoneers had test it make some flying enemies immobilize too.
So 1 point is enough for reduce cannon shot pernalty. you can put more point if you want to use for another dmg skill vs flying enemy

This thread is already post 2 months ago. I thought most people who interest in cannoneer already known about this.
