Can we stop with the term White Knight?

The problem is that whiners here are fighting something that shouldnt be fought. You did that in my topic too, regarding the trade restrictions. This is why i call you a whiner.

I wouldn’t do that if you would say something reasonable, like actually suggest something instead of complain or make valid points.

However you are just complaining about the system and fighting it, because it’s ToS and it’s IMC so it’s bad. Thats why we call you guys whiners, cause you complain to developer, even if they are doing good.

I honestly understand why you dont like tokens, you want to trade without spending, id like that too, however that doesn’t mean you should complain. Why? Because gold sellers can ruin the game and economy. You will just let the gold sellers get their way, thats not ok at all!

It’s like letting the gold sellers go herp-derp, stupid devs, without anything holding them back. If you want this game to be great and good, you have to say no to bots, and realize what the restrictions actually do.

You want this game to succeed and not be a bot fest with a broken economy and a p2w cash shop, dont you? Then stop complaining

Not sure why i did this, just felt like it. Maybe because your post was full of opinions and you are calling people white knights because they dont feel the same way. Please don’t try to argue with the stuff i said, it wasnt real for the most part.

That’s why we call you white knights. You don’t read just defend. As I said, we are complaining about real things here.

Why? Because other mmo’s could do that, so IMC should do that too… :stuck_out_tongue:

I dont see an issue TBH. Retards vs retards, at least there is a balance.
For every white knight, there are 3 unhinged idiots who cry, whine, accuse, down rate without any rational argument.

Your thread is only oil to the fire and yes, you called it. It wont do anything. Except creating yet another flame war.

Call them a “white knight” is insulting to white knights. If a big company is exploiting people then defenders defending these big companies aren’t really a white knight because they are encouraging the exploitation of people which is a BAD THING.
It’s also funny they call us Whiners and try to put us in a lower group and yet they whine about whiners which puts them in the same lower group as us even if they think they don’t belong in that group.

Well for me I prefer to use the term fanboys. White Knight is mostly used to refer to men that defend women with the assumption that they are looking for a romantic reward in return.

Every time I read White Knight, I think of this…

and that’s cool :3

i believe these people have all quietly left, or are quietly playing the game instead of wasting time on the forums.

…sometimes. usually not so much. mostly it’s used as a derogatory term for “how dare you agree with a company decision about something i don’t like!”

again; it’s only unpopular to those who disagree with the decision. others agree with the decision, but daring to speak up gets them branded as “white knights”
if i were to announce that i happen to like this game a lot, and i don’t find the trade restrictions to be that terribly onerous, i’d be branded as a white knight.
(i actually do feel that way, altho, i agree, the trade restrictions could use a bit of tweaking… like Team storage shouldn’t break potential, and should be a LOT bigger as a base)

yea but people said the world was flat, too. hell i could call the star in the sky during the day a tomato, if i cared to. calling it that doesn’t make it so.
(it’s not beta. there was no NA open beta. this is release.)

60% is better than half. more people appear to like it than dislike it… but that’s a useless measurement, since of 20-35,000 players currently, only about 10% have reviewed it, meaning only those that feel the most passionate about it. or, those that wrote a passionate review ages ago, and then got bored and forgot about the game. 60% based on 3400 reviews; meaning of 35,000+ players, only ~1400 hated it enough to write about it. and how many of those players are just making bad reviews based on the troubles that happened in the first week, and will never be part of the long term play?

Don’t let it get to you, people throw insults in your face for no reason now days. It’s sad, but that’s how it is.

That awkward moment where people still think 1-1 trade being disabled for free players is affecting bots whatsoever.

Item trade, not really. Silver trade, yes it does. If nothing else it slows them down from getting silver from the bot to the seller to the buyer and raising the possibility of them getting caught.

Nobody is arguing for silver trade to return.

I call people white knight if -
They defend a company’s poor decision that the majority clearly doesn’t like.
They have no factual reason as to why other then company said so so it’s okay!
They are quick to insult the other party with terms such as stupid, retard, plebe, etc.

I am. Free market system ftw.

No offence but some people want the whole package as stated above  I do agree that 1 on 1 Item trading should be enabled for all.

yes exactly. that way instead of buying a bunch of silver and hoping to get lucky on the market, they can just buy whatever they want directly from the RMT’s.

this is TOTALLY a great idea.

Quite a lot of us want silver trading to remain disabled but want to have access to item trading… myself for example do not support silver trading whatsoever, I do think the tax should be lowered on the market but that’s it as far as silver goes… oh and everyone should have the same spaces on the market. >>; the 48 hour delay isn’t bad IF you can sell more then one freaking item.

Okay let me fix that. The majority of people asking for trade system fixes on these forums that I have seen (and I am on here a LOT), are asking for 1-1 trading of items so they can trade between friends and party members when something drops they don’t need. Not for silver trading. Most of us can admit removing silver trading helps slow bots pretty well.

Silver is much easier to get than rare items people would want to buy for real money. Not saying it’s impossible, it just takes longer …making it less worthwhile? My humble opinion anyway.
