Hello, for people who have no TP, it would be nice to make the costume purchasable through steam via a DLC package. While I know many still have TP from the 50% off packages, I’m sure there are players, like myself, who do not have TP or a way to access it. (Granted, I never got to use the TP I purchased already due to theft, but not much I can do about that…)
Theft??
Anyways, best be patient, they are currently setting out on optimizing the servers and getting rid of bots.
my guess is the TP / any other dlc package in steam will be released on F2P launch too
at least if they do release new costumes you can carefully consider which to get first
I don’t actually think making a DLC package would cause any significant hangup on their other tasks. So, I don’t think that’s a good reason not to. Also, this isn’t a matter of patience; if it were, I wouldn’t of payed money to play the game now vs. later. And really, I spent over a hundred dollars on their game, the least I can have is a way to purchase new merchandise. And yes, theft, as in I purchased something, and it was taken from me by someone else.
You make light of how things work, friend. lol
If you did read around you’ll notice they are prioritizing making the game more stable. adding new things / method to buy would be somewhere lower on their worklist i reckon.
anyways, maybe you should make this on the suggestion part of the forum instead of general discussion?
they should just quickly put in the option to buy TP already.
it makes absolutely zero business sense to me. 0, zilch, null. why would you ever deny yourself an opportunity to earn money that you were meant to make?
Because we got people crying for more TP-purchasables that are buying in-game silver from gold sellers at the same time so they’re making sure no loopholes are there?
Unfortunately even if you’re an honest player, there’s still troublesome players out there that punishes all of us.
But this is an MMO. If it’s a solo game it’s much easier. Because it’s an MMO, we get restrictions that idiots cause to be imposed on us.
Sorry this is not true… As someone who works in a hardware design company… Context switch is a thing…
Any little ‘change’ you need to make will cause the stuff you were working on to take another few hours for you to reorient yourself. Plus you can’t remember location of every single part of the code especially when you’re deep in another section/file.
Plus if you’re understaffed (like how I feel at busy times in my office), some tasks that can be done in one day can be ignored for 2 months because their bosses are kicking their backs wanting this and that to be prioritized over it.
I agree with letting us buy tp or more dlc packs. It’s kind of silly to release new costumes but not give people any methods to get the currency to buy it. I already used up all the tp from all the dlc packs available.
Some people have tp saved up but it doesn’t make sense to me since there’s stuff I want in cash shop. There’s almost no good sense why there is a cash shop but you can’t buy the currency.
How about they enable tp purchase so they can hire more people with the money they make?
I don’t understand how you link people who want to buy tp as people who also buys from gold sellers.
I don’t even understand your logic on this.
That sounds more like a personal issue than a normality. As a Web Developer, I have no issues pausing a task, doing something else for a hour, and starting back where I left off. Why would I need 2 hours to “reorient” myself?
But really, that’s conjecture anyways. Anyone with proper access can make a DLC package on Steam. Their actual programmers are not even needed for this. It is a simple matter of assigning someone to do so. And as others have said, why not have another method to make money? Money is kind of a big deal for a MMO that is just taking off.
CUSTOME PACK!!
/soon
@Poorest Because of what happened yesterday…
I lost my words…
@valkyrie_regalia not sure, but software/hardware development is a bit different I guess. Or maybe we just bite more than we can chew? If the problem is only me that’s fine, but if the problem is in other teams I have to suck it up.
If they care solely about money they would make everything p2w and not fix the issues they already have and just shut players up I guess?
And… How, exactly, is making a costume oriented DLC package “p2w?” Because, from what I understand, it just seems like a way for people to obtain a costume and possibly a small amount of TP at an attractive price.
Because they have tons of other issues that they’re dealing with?
Or you can try to work for them and fix all their issues? Not sure if you’ll get a better salary though.
Or even better, shut those whiners up who kept complaining about every little thing so decent suggestions like this gets prioritized?
(Oh I just realized, if you read my posts, in no way I’m against this - just that they’re taking their time. I’m all for this - although I think that that Cleric M costume look least attractive and I’m a Cleric M >.<)
I would agree with you if the costumes were limited edition. If they’re always going to be in the shop then I have no issue waiting till they give us options to buy TP. :3
Are…you actually reading what is being replied to you…or are you just typing random conjecture now? Because, nothing of what you said has anything to do with answering: “How, exactly, is making a costume oriented DLC package ‘p2w?’”.
Also, you are basically just repeating yourself from before and somehow associating me with fixing their issues…for some reason? What?
This doesn’t require a lead programmer to accomplish, as I said before. This is merely a way for people to purchase new merchandise that they may not be able to as of now. It isn’t really P2W and it isn’t a huge taxing task either. I think it’s rather reasonable.
Hmm because I never said the specific costume is p2w? So I feel no need to reply to it?
Not sure if you want someone to answer to a crime they haven’t committed…
I said IF they care solely about money they WOULD have made everything p2w like a bunch of chinese brrowser mmos out there~
I think your issue is that this won’t be at the top of the thousands of issues out there.
As I said, go shut the whiners up that causes the staff to be stacked by thousands of unnecessary issues and your suggestions may float to the top of the stack.
I mean, one of the staffs even had her server transfer request borked and she can’t play properly now
And you do know once the TP becomes available, it’s going to be 10$ for 100. Lol.
They’ve already explained that the 50$ DLC pack contained 60$ worth of TP. Bet this is flying over some people’s heads. 15-20$ for a premium hairstyle? Come on.
W-what!?
You can’t say “If they care solely about money they would make everything p2w and not fix the issues they already have and just shut players up I guess?” in response to “And as others have said, why not have another method to make money? Money is kind of a big deal for a MMO that is just taking off” and say you aren’t saying the package would be p2w. Do you not see the contradiction?
Yeah, it’s kind of insane in that respect. Thus, why I was pretty bummed out about having what is apparently 90~100 dollars worth of TP stolen. sighs
Nope o.o
Because money is not their main focus so therefore they don’t have to prioritize the package to get more money~
Slow down and read, don’t rush.
Plus I’m at work so I’m sorry for reply delays.
Can’t keep up with your speed.
