But, that isn’t what you said. You replied saying that p2w would be their focus. This package isn’t a p2w package. Thus…it doesn’t make sense for you to associate it with it. You literally brought up p2w out of no where as a reply to the package turning a profit for them.
As for them not only caring about profit… You can simultaneously care about money and fixing bugs in a game. Again, nothing to do with them focusing on p2w items only. This ISN’T a p2w matter. This is not endorsing them to care about p2w money making over game content. Not, even, close.
I don’t want to be rude but your reasons doesn’t make too much sense here for me haha. You are a bit impatient because you should know IMC definitely working on a way of TP buying…and IMC definitely want to sell those costumes so even if those were limited they will stay for a long time till everybody who wants to can buy them.
BUT I agree that most likely there are other ppl who currently were left without TP too…and IMC should know that and that ppl are impatient and they would want to get their nice outfits too now and not… who knows when…
So yeah if they are not ready with the TP stuff they should just release a dlc something.

But making a way to allow your customers to pay money has absolutely nothing to do making things p2w.
Making a way to allow your customers to pay money is also irrelevant to ‘caring solely about making money’.
It’s just about implementing a common sense step…
[/quote]What is common sense when you get a bunch of brats threatening at your door and whining 24/7?
Wouldn’t you lose your common sense at that point?
It’s like shutting them in a box while screaming at them nonsensical stuff until their mind break and they lost sense of reality.
I’m really glad I don’t have a job that directly deals with customers.
Those aren’t my only listed reasons. I do disagree with you that those reasons don’t matter though. It’s a big deal when someone puts a lot of money into a game before it’s even really released. The point is to get content sooner and to support the game. What I stated is simply drawing a comparison to the same logic in mind for the paid early access in the first place.

I’ve supported a bunch of kickstarter projects and maybe about half of the game projects failed.
Sad and their wall will be flooded with slanders but reality sucks.
It sounds like you’re projecting emotions about something else entirely different to the actual topic here. Maybe you should consider taking a break if the forums are getting to you?
As for losing common sense from doing one’s job, that isn’t really justifiable. If someone isn’t able to handle a job that deals with customer complaints, then it isn’t a job for them and they should find another one. Don’t forget, this isn’t charity work that the staff is putting forth. They are being paid to interact with their customers and deal with player issues.
It’s actually a big deal and can be the difference of losing or gaining costumers, thus why IMC Games believes it is a good investment of their money to hire people for the task. Most jobs have ups and downs that require people with certain strengths to contend with. This one is no different.
With all that said, I don’t think I’ve made an outlandish or unreasonable request, thus I don’t think it’s fair to associate me or the thread with something of a toxic nature.
Oh… I get it now. Yeah I can accept that viewpoint. But still hopefully IMC knows this too and TP will come in some way soon…so I hope they have a plan…
Yeah, it’s always a risk I suppose when you invest early in something. I have been watching Tree of Savior for many years though as I was really into iRO and this feels like a big evolution from it. Thus, why I’m willing to deal with some things that would normally make me leave the game already. Not that this is really one of them. More so, the whole theft issue that has caused the costume not to be purchasable for me in the first place. Not that it’s IMC Game’s fault about what happened to me though. sigh Just was a bit sucker punched from someone I thought I knew better.
It’s actually because I like your suggestion but I know that suggestions like these will be deemed less important than a lot of the whinings out there, so want to point out that it may come in due time but not anytime soon.
I really do hope that at least TP is buyable soon so these gold buyers stop finding excuses to spend hundreds of dollars on third party gold sellers though.
I don’t really understand why they’re forbidding this either, but I guess they have some kind of internal issue.
I’m so sad that the costumes are in game now and I don’t have TP to purchase them… T.T Let’s hope they will take notice and make TP available for purchase soon…
Yo dude, you’re not making sense in the end. IMC already has the delivery system to send us TP and a payment system to get paid for said TP. They can easily remove a DLC from the shop as they can add one in.
Buying TP is a demand of many players as well. Their current “bigger” problems will be long time problems that need more than a few hours maximum to solve which this TP shortage could be solved within. It’s not about priorities at this point. There’s no sense to put off a problem that takes a few hours to resolve just so you can work on a problem that can take god knows how long. We all honestly know the botting and gold seller problems can’t be solved and put to an end unless this game becomes dungeon only and world mobs drop nothing. That or other drastic measures.
Because you have to be very, very careful how to balance cash shops to Western audiences. Players here will call EVERYTHING pay-to-win. There has even been outcry about the experience on Tokens on these forums. You have to make sure everything you sell is to an acceptable enough state that players won’t just leave in droves before you start adding more things and allowing more sales. Once people leave, it is harder to get them back.
That’s at least my best guess as to why they are doing it. It makes sense to me, personally, but I could see the argument against it as well. Since they haven’t released an official statement, we can only go with conjecture.
I’d like to see them add these packages in; don’t get me wrong. You have my vote for adding them in. I think aesthetics should be added to shops as long as they are able to be rendered properly. There’s no real issue with them in this game.
That said, if you’ve ever worked on a project with a few hundred thousand lines of code, you’d see how it can take a while to get back into it. I have worked on both game engine code and web development, and I can say that’s like comparing working on a blender to working on a rocket ship. Yes, the parts may boil down to the same basic components (more or less), but there’s a lot more interaction between pieces and room for catastrophe with one.
