Can someone give me a little help, please?

So, I’ve build an Archer, but really disliked it for the lack of AoE and solo PvE (until extremely geared).
A1>QS3>Ranger1>Falc3>BM2 (AA build)
So I’m building a new one, I guess that I still want to keep Falcon (utility).
I came across to 2 builds which interested me:
A1>Ranger3>Fletcher1>Falc3>Mergen2
A1>Ranger3>Fletcher3>Falc3
And if I where to give up on the Falc, maybe
A1>Ranger3>Fletcher3>Mergen3

So, which one would you guys recommend? I don’t play PvP and hunt solo almost all the time (but still want to go on endgame content)

Best of both worlds as far as AoE DPS and single target goes.

I am running that build, but I also have a ranger3-wugu3-falc3. The latter is insane AoE, though my gear is also well-suited for it. Wugu is almost certainly the best AoE in the archer tree right now., and falc adds a nice level of party utility and ranger/falc is great. Ranger helps with the single target DPS some, but the whole build is very much an AoE based class and you’d probably be happier with the full DPS ranger/fletcher/mergen if you plan to solo a lot or want to do Bernice’s.

So, should I give up on the Falcon?
I’m afraid that no one will accept me on party without it kkkkk

Falc is great, but it’s really a choice. If you want to be a pure DPS, you have to live up to the expectation when brought into a group by providing it. :stuck_out_tongue:

I think it’s not a very popular build, and maybe it loses lot of damage by not having any class from higher ranks, but it looked nice…

Build would be very solid, but some skill point recommendations that differ from that guide:

I would not max time bomb arrow–great skill for PVP and knocking things down but I’d throw most of the points into critical shot itself or barrage.

You also don’t need that many points in high anchoring, one will do to apply the debuff.

Bodkin also doesn’t need to be max level and broadhead is great DPS, also barbed is great DPS on cloth bosses (froster lord!) so I wouldn’t leave that out.

Falc skills are fine as they are there.

I make these recommendations based on my own archers and doing end game PVE content with these two in specific, though perhaps someone might disagree.

Yeah, I got only 1 point on Timebomb and got Barrage maxed, found it easier to grind early game.
I guess Bodkin is maxed for it’s utility…
