Processor: Intel® Core™ i3-5020U CPU @ 2.20GHz
Graphics: Intel® HD Graphics 5500
RAM: 4GB
OS: Windows 10
Thank you for that peace of mind! Mainly was just worried for my processor. Thank you, again.
I basically used the same system in the second cbt. And well, it was quite playable, so yes.
I am going to go out on a limb here and say no way. The game is going to be packed at launch and your laptop is absolutely terrible. That process is a really budget low-range chip and your embedded graphics chip is terrible. I don’t think you will get to play the game smoothly at all when big animations and explosions are going off and when plenty of people are on the screen killing and grinding. Maybe if you stand still it will be okay, but seriously. Do not trust these other people at all.
You can’t just look at ‘numbers’ and say that ‘it’s going to play okay’ because my numbers ‘kind of match’. You have no dedicated graphics chip which is a huge set back and you have a super mobile CPU chip that is not remotely designed for even gaming…
He will probably be okay for inside instances or open field when there’s only 1-2 other people around.
I wouldn’t trust it with more than 5 people on screen though.
The minimum and recommended requirements are never accurate. -_-

Oddly enough, the system requirements from steam and from the website are a bit different: link
Whichever one is right, I think it’s worth trying and see for yourself.
No.
Game looks like it’s from PS1 era but takes a surprising toll on your PC when there’s tons of players, effects and monsters on the screen.
Don’t expect any paperweight laptop to run it.
Everyone seem to be giving a mixed yes or no answer I think it might be better to clear up what you have.
Yes you do meet minimum requirements and here is why:
Processor:
Steam requirements and game site requirements say you need at least an Intel Pentium Core 2/ Intel Core2Duo. Your processor isn’t good enough for recommend but meets the minimum for both.
Graphics:
Your graphics card appears to outdo both minimum but don’t reach recommended.
So basically you don’t meet the recommended requirements but you do reach the minimum requirements. I don’t recommend playing on a laptop because laptops are not usually good for gaming anyhow you will probably end up with a little bit of lag and possibly issue with over heating if you play too long.
Honestly, there is not much room in “I used basically the same system in cbt2 and played it pretty nicely”. Until you caught me lying, you all need to accept that as fact. And yes, I killed a lot of fieldbosses.
I will use the same Laptop again, but with a stronger CPU (@2,8ghz) and a SSD now. That should be pretty sufficient.
omg im worried. im using my laptop to run this game alos. im suing 5th generation intel core i3. is this gonna be okay?
You should need at least a 2nd generation or higher to beat the minimum requirements. In other words yes your cpu will work. (As long as your other specs fit the rest.)

I played ToS’s betas on my cruddy HP Pavilion laptop before I got a new gaming laptop.
HP laptop specs (old):
• AMD A8-5550M APU (2.10 GHz) (Processor)
• AMD Radeon HD 8550G
• 1 TB HDD
• 8 GB RAM
• 64-bit (Windows 10)
• DirectX 11.2
I’m certain your laptop can handle the game if my old one can.
I think I’ll play the game on my old laptop when I don’t feel like leaving my bed and on my new laptop whenever I want maximum performance (and when I’m not feeling lazy
).
No way. People need to understand this game isn’t some text game. i3’s are for web browsing and mobile processing they aren’t for games at all.
You also don’t have a dedicated graphics chip. Honestly this is not negotiable. Your cheap netbook isn’t going to run this game at all. It may not even start without a dedicated graphics chip.
You don’t get it. You have a DEDICATED GRAPHICS chip in your old laptop. These guys have powersaving intel processors and no dedicated graphics. There is a gigantic difference.
You can’t even play Runescape smoothly on Intel graphics. How the heck you expect to play this?
Anyway good to know there’s a lot of people here who know nothing about hardware and who seem to think that if the numbers match (and they don’t even close to match) that the game will play…
You honestly do not have to be rude.
One, it is NOT dedicated.
It is INTEGRATED graphics.
There is a gigantic difference to those who actually know how to recognize dedicated and integrated GFX cards and intel is capable of running games which makes me begin to think you believe Intel is only for computers used for business or research.
Do your homework before you act belligerent on the forums.
Did you even read what I said? This is what I have been saying the entire time… they have integrated graphics, not dedicated.
Seriously if you clowns want to preach that intel chips are totez okay to play this game on, then go for it. You’re still wrong.
thanks for the reply. but my installed ram is only 4GB is it fine?
Your RAM isn’t an issue here… the issue is that your CPU is meant for just browsing the web, not playing games and if you don’t have some form of dedicated graphics (like Nvidia or Radeon) then you’re not going to play the game smoothly at all.
