Can an Archer's AA splash?

I just read the pdf file if vyne (I think)
and written there is that Archers have 0 natural AoE attack ratio

how does this interact if I get something like gladiator band (gives +1 aoe attack)
then I use high level falconer’s circling on mobs
does our AA splash?
or does it only work on skills that actually splashes?

i have 5 AoE ratio on my archer, wont splash… you just hit more mobs with AoE skills.
