As the title states i’m looking for viable builds that are purely or almost purely str based. My focus is PvP but open to PvE perspectives. (Im aware dex is the meta for those who feel the need to input that)
probably rouge builds, since they get shitloads of free crit

Isn’t rogue’s sneak hit based on your crit rate? If so, rogue is probably the worst class to run pure str build with.
you can get lots of free crit from items and rouges sneak hit can amp it by a lot, you can also couple it with archer C2’s swift step atribute for even more crit
also back stab will almost always crit too. ive seen some builds that pair rouge with ranger for critical shot, im not that knowlegable on archers, but ive been around some dudes who play high str builds and most of em go rouge.
