@Veritas what do u think about daoshi overall?Is it more like dps or support classes?It seems it has really high base dmg but it seems they dont hv any damage attributes besides the talisman explosion one, doesnt that makes creeping death charm dmg will be way less compare to other classes that get some attributes dmg increases in their r8 skills?So most of daoshi dps will be from zaibas rain combo?what do u think? and do u think the magic dps meta still revolves around wiz3 ele lock or theres other magic user classes that u think might have higher dps than wiz3 ele lock?thanks a lot
i will choose PD 2 but why they put "Infected targets have a small chance of infecting a lesser version of this skill to nearby enemies " into this toxic skill, i think they will overwrite and the small chance will win
I currently have an c2diev3druid1 sitting on my lodge, what do you think ? PD>Inquistor for the rest of ranks could work ? since the damage output will only be from my rank 8 anyway and i can use the statues to solo support, safety zone for block and PD to screw pvp metagame, only downside would be druid but even this i can use with the attribute from blunt weapons doing extra damage on plant enemies (since druid can transform any ground enemy on plant), telepath is ok i think when Inquisitor come out i can reset my stats to DEX/CON variant and laught at my enemies face, it looks like realy good choice anyway… since monks and paladins dont offer much
@hahawla - It’s not completely necessary but the alternative that sticks out in my head right now is Druid C2 for anticipation into Druid C3. But I’m not too keen on that. There’s a few combinations of classes you can do involving Kabbalist C1, Plague Doctor C1, or even Oracle C1 depending on how far into support territory you want to go. Personally, I think Plague Doctor provides a nice mix of damage and support, more so damage. Which at the end of the day, this build is more damage-oriented. But you’re free to deviate from it - use what I write as an inspiration not as a schematic.
@bdarwongso - Daoshi C1 looks amazing. However I’m far too poor to play that class. Therefore I’m committed to Plague Doctor C2 now. If I had the money to support playing Daoshi I would play it.
@pinobaby9 - Hopefully not. I’m not sure of the specific mechanics of the contagion aspect of Toxic Spray.
@pedrinsotero - I think it can but you’re really denying yourself a big chunk of damage through critical hits for the Inquisitor skills. Also I’m not sure I’m a big fan of Inquisistor’s kit for PvE, or the fact that’s taking three or four skills all with enhance attributes. If you take all four skills to some degree (Breaking Wheel only at one) that’s four R8 attributes to account for. Each of them take over 320 million silver to max out in the end.
@Veritas yeah i also want to go for daoshi bc it looks cool, but what im afraid is its lack of attributes, since it looks like daoshi only has attributes inc dmg for begone demon which doesnt has a lot of hit counts or only 1explosion?compare to creeping death charm etc… what do you think?
why not inquisitor at rank8?
this class is describe as mage killer…
really powerful in pvp againt magic class o.o
is the poison effect from Plague Vapours a Rank 3 debuff similar to Incineration burn?
As i seen PD2 new dmg skill Plague Vapours can be spreaded? Is it bug or intended?
@bdarwongso1 - Unsure, may not be intentional, the lack of attributes. Still, it brings more raw damage and utility support.
@strawhatcrewz - Doesn’t fit this build well. Less counterplay with kit in PvP and no dexterity is a huge loss for Inquisistor’s high base damages. Also, Inquisistor means multiple new enhance attributes, and so it’s unintuitive budget-wise.
@MangKanor_PH - Yes.
@CrossSleet - Yes, if you look in the description, it has a chance to “spread a lesser version of itself”. Paraphrased.
I mean - do fumigate (PD skill spreading debuff aoe) work on Plague Vapours?
@Veritas yeah the base dmg is so high too…btw, seeing from all the R8 info, which magic class path do u think can has the highest dps output? ele3-wl2?kriv3-daoshi?or any?thanks
What you think about pandemic with the new atribute?
will daoshi invisibility charm still work when you attack the mobs?? or does it work like fade??
Hello Saintone im interested in your build my question is, is your build viable in solo pve? please help me
@CrossSleet - I do not know yet.
@bdarwongso1 - For single target damage, Cleric C2 - Krivis C3 - Druid C2 - Daoshi C1 looks to be the strongest. Considerations of Bokor as well instead of Druid C2 for filler attacks while retaining an invincibility mulligan.
@Sandu - I have always liked Pandemic, but this particular build doesn’t make as much use out of it since the statuses are either permeating or don’t spread. Pandemic is best on a Hexing Cleric, though it may see some use if it spreads Toxic Spray.
@hahawla - Presumably it allows you to attack while not generating aggro since it’s a permeating ground effect. I will have to double check, and cannot confirm this as of now.
@mr.ryzell25 - This build and Dievdirbys in general struggles in solo play. Bokor is the superior solo PvE job. Dievdirbys shines in group play.
@Veritas
Since PD2 new skills are too good to dont get it 5/5 what you are going for?
Incinerate 10/10 is very nice and healing factor too … im confused haha
Hi, I was wondering about when you do ET, if you play w/ another cleric that has resurrection or not? I was planning on going cleric 1 instead of druid 1 for the res and blessing, but realized that blessing doesn’t affect owl statues, so my damage is dropping massively it seems in comparison to druid 1, and I don’t know if the party can make up for the carnivory damage through my blessing, which would be like +200 damage per hit.
I don’t know how many support groups take for ET, but I’ll be playing w/ a chrono friend each time.
@Sandu - This is, at this time, my current R8 plan. This is a hybrid kit for both PvE and PvP. There are places to draw points if you prefer one over the other.
@inyux3 - We rely on Backmask and not dying. One should not expect death in ET, rather anticipate and prevent it. If you’re dying a lot where you need a resurrect every 30 seconds, you may need to re-think the strategy. When we suffer deaths, usually the 5 minute cooldown Backmask is enough to handle it.
Nice Build, you take BeakMask to cover the bloodletting cd?
As a oracle i guess i will not take that.
And, why you put 2 points on bloodletting? PVE?
PvP, the extra point in it may go into Beak Mask, Healing Factor, or Pandemic, I’ve yet to decide.
Edit: On second thought it’ll likely go into Healing Factor to assist with PvE uptime with basic CD coverage and some extended coverage with DM.
