[Build] Saintone's Diev Doctor ○ Support & Offense ○ PvE & PvP (No longer updated.)

@Krixs - There’s no great PvE build that I know of that dips into Krivis unless it’s FS for Daino or Krivis C3 for Melstis. I’ve no personal recommendations off of Krivis unless you want to replace the Dievdirbys component of the build and aim to play with Melstis in tandem with others in high level play.

Or just go full support.

@s_valyria - Seems nice in PvP, or something. I prefer regular resistances.

@kamuitouma - Healing Factor level two is weak. Fumigate is only useful in PvP. Beak Mask is only useful in PvP. Bloodletting only needs to be maxed in PvP, otherwise it’s fine at even level one (anything after that is just extra).

Off of that, determine what build you want to pursue, bearing in mind of course there is no influential PvP yet. Perhaps just max out Healing Factor and Incineration. Pandemic is neat, but very situational to use, in both PvE and PvP.

alright I think I’m gonna skip Pandemic so I can put 3 points into Bloodletting and maxed out Healing Factor + Incineration instead, thank you! :innocent:

@Veritas i see, thank you but since i already picked Krivis c1, is there a way i can just roll with it or should i reroll another cleric ?

Hi Veritas, do you think Cle 2 > Diev 2 > Priest 1 > Druid 1 > PD 1 is still good for ET? Or will it be hugely ineffective that I should just get Diev 3? (I want to sacrifice 1 circle of Diev to get Priest’s res but still be able to retain 1 circle of Druid)

ohh thanks , i want ask that what scroll u bring for ET? i only can see that barrier scroll

Daino, Sacrament, Blessing, Aspersion

Oh, I wrote a reply to this yesterday but the site was in read-only mode. It took @kamuitouma’s response to remind me that it never sent.

I regularly use the following scrolls and keep a healthy stock on me at all times: Cure, Aukuras, Restoration, Forecast, Daino, Turn Undead, and Dispeller.

You can stick with Krivis C3 if you want to try to make use of Melstis with higher circles of Cleric and other classes, where it’ll inevitably create some very powerful combinations I’m sure. On its own, Dievdirbys does a whole lot more, however. It’s up to you.

I think you’re spreading yourself a bit too thin there. Priest C1 is great for PvE and PvP, bad for single target bossing builds. Druid C1 is quite the opposite. It limits your build choices at the higher levels and hampers the efficiency of your Dievdirbys class choice by not picking up C3 (it’s that good).

Thanks mate, I’ve decied to go with Cle2>Diev3>Priest1>PD1 anh hope that the rank8 will give me more in the DPS department

I sent you a message, don’t wanted to be annoying too, but, as i said, i like the way you build your cleric and i’m new with the class…
So, i’m searching for a dps oriented Bokor, i don’t really like Diev style, tried your build but for me it doesn’t work too well.

I saw you saying that you would make a Bokor soon, can you tell me what’s the best dps oriented Bokor build in your opinion?

I was thinking about C2 Bokor2 Krivis1 Druid2, what’s your opinion? I think that zombies are pretty useless and it’s better to get only Bokor2 for Effigy 10 and Hex 10. Thank you in advance.

Hey, sorry, I thought I sent a reply, but I guess the forum ate it up.

My ideal Bokor would probably be along the lines of Cleric C2 - Bokor C3 - Priest C1 - Plague Doctor C1.

Cleric C2 covers your fundamentals for healing and protection, with the miscellaneous tools of DM and Fade, and the always-powerful Cure. Bokor C3 has Damballa, which with this update incoming has the Remove: Knockdown attribute that will make it the most powerful tool Bokor has. High level Mackingdal is also amazing mitigation in tandem with Safety Zone as a pseudo-invulnerability.

Priest C1 offers you a weak Blessing but one nonetheless as well as Resurrection for you to have a big support impact at high level content.

Plague Doctor C1 gives you Healing Factor to keep someone healthy, Incineration as a powerful attack, and Pandemic to help you spread Hexing for Effigy.

I hate zombies in the Bokor tree, but maybe they’ll be better with proper buffs.

Carve World Tree’s silence does not affect bosses. Knowing this, does incineration count it as a debuff on bosses for an extra tick of damage?

It does not. If the debuff cannot go on the target, it is not factored into Incineration’s duration.

Thanks for the quick reply. I have another question, do you have any pro tips ate placement of owls? Like, what is the most ideal positioning for bosses. And how do you handle bosses that knock back your owl statues? Do you keep them at a distance from their knock back AoE and hope that they are in range enough to hit the boss? Or would you keep them as clots to the boss as possible?

@Veritas Hi, so i hv a questions about owl damage in duel/pvp. Does it bypass defense? since i tried with some ppl owl did the same damage even when he use leather then change to plate or even when his gear broken completely, compared to unbroken gear. Moreover, why it looks like owl deal more dmg per tick compared to carnivory when carnivory has higher damage on paper?Any insight or explanation on this?im curious  thanks a lot

@jr_batenga - Place them where you hope they won’t get knocked away. Or inside the boss’ hitbox.

@bdarwongso1 - I’m actually not sure, having seen this myself.

To all, I’ve seen a lot of Dievdirbys out there PvPing. Best of luck out there. Remember that it’s hard to win on your own, but with the right supporting teammates you can dish out a lot of damage. People are learning how to fight against statues quickly. Be decisive and smart with your statue placement.

See you in the arena.

@Veritas - what do you think about telepath now? it useless in team battle league, what is the point on go Druid?

I enjoy it still. Telepath is useful, but it depends on how you use it. There is an obvious major drawback to it, that you can’t cancel it mid-way and it leaves you vulnerable.

It has three uses.

  1. Move a target away from their team, take them out of the fight. Taking a Healer away from the enemy team for however long, especially if there’s someone else on your team to heal, to fill your role.

  2. Hold an enemy, especially if it’s the last one, so your team can place damage underneath them, and hopefully kill them by the time Telepath wears off.

  3. Interrupt channel skills. This is my favorite use for it, and what I use it for most. It’s dangerous to kill a lot of enemies in one place, if there’s a Priest present on their team to resurrect all of them at the same time. A Cleric that runs to a group of dead bodies and places Safety Zone inconspicuously will try to resurrect them most likely. Run to them, wait for their channel, hook them to interrupt it, and walk them away from the corpses to buy more time without having to deal with resurrected enemies.

I can only agree that teammates are really important in PvP…
Well, I do think PvP is a little RNG depending on your party composition. (Second video) The compo was really good, I felt bad for the other team in this battle.

Also, you’re too good at placing Incinerate, I always miss/can’t see that there is no debuff around…

I don’t know if I can post the video but… Just to show that the build can do well in PvP.

PS: I can remove the video if you want. It was just to show the build in PvP :<
Edit: Also, if you come here Maghi, kudos to you. You’re the strongest player I have ever seen. (Sorcerer/Necro too strong x;x)
