[Build] Saintone's Diev Doctor ○ Support & Offense ○ PvE & PvP (No longer updated.)

Are you sure about otrava shield reducing the magic amplification from animus? i tested it by equipping animus and then otrava and my magic amp number stayed the same.

I always forget Animus is factored in non-retroactively. You are correct, so long as you put the shield on after the amulet, always in that order.

Glad to hear it, using otrava atm and dont want to replace it for a while.
Congrats for your amazing guide and attention you give our community, really helpful.

@veritas

Hey again…
Anyway there are 2 things i wanna ask around PVP
( duel and battle league )

  • Statue of Lamia
What if i cast 2 max level Lamia in one spot…
Does the movement reduce stack at pvp???
    Or still 33% (CMIIW)

  • Statue of Ausrine
Lets say I cast Ausrine and at the 10th second the enemy hit it 15 times… And the statue dissapear… Does the light invicible buff also dissapear?? Or its stay there even when the statue dissapear???

Thanks for the amswer

  • Regarding Laima: The effects do not stack. It simply increasing the area which the effect will cover.
  • Regarding Ausrine: The circles will disappear with it. If you had the buff on you “Blessing of Ausrine” that will stay on your character, even if the statue disappears, until the buff duration elapses.

Thanks for the answer @veritas

For someone who does a lot of ET and I will be getting there in the near future( just hit level 200, so still a bit to go) … I decided to go C2>Diev3>Oracle and honestly i’m stumped for the last rank, I get Priest would be very helpful(mostly due to ress) but if i decide not to go priest what would possibly be the next best bet. I looked at Oracle 2 ( if i go this route i wasn’t planning to get Death Sentence), Kabbalist and PD ( but at the same time i don’t want to jump on the bandwagon). I don’t plan to do ET without my friend who is a Pelt/tanky squire.

@AryiaRose - Priest C1 if ET based. Plague Doctor otherwise for general purpose and solid support for both PvP and PvE.

To all, we made it to 13/F of ET today. This is where I feel like without Priest C1 in your build, a vast majority of teams can and will fail.

Yeah but my upmost priority now is doing demonlord bosses so i was wondering which one should i invest my attributes on. Like people all said warlock deals tons of damage bc of quickcast attributes and tons of spell like frost cloud, meteor, dark theurge, poa, electrocute, hail, magic missile, etc. Theres no doubt ele3 warlock is the best AOE dmg dealer, but for single target doesnt all of these skills has really high cd if compared to ur build skills? for ex: cure is like 30s while POA is like 2min and isnt 4x cure dmg is way far more superior compare to POA (not counting it deals 2x dmg on most demonlord)?or like dark theurge vs carnivory, doesnt carnivory deals more dmg with relatively the same cooldown?since it hits more and has the same cooldown?not counting owl also has some ridiculous dmg that imo deals really tons of dmg if the boss is cornered or stay in static conditions? If my purpose is solely for WB, between warlock and ur builds, which one should i invest my money on attributes on?Thank you very much

@Veritas

Hi Veritas, what do you think about this slight variation of your build to provide some more utility?

In the Diev tree I drew some points from Laima to get some more Carve damage. I’m not into PVP so I guess the minimum time for Zemyna is good enough and leaves enough room (after the KTOS buffs that bring the CD to 47sec) to recarve the statue before it expires. I thought about putting 1 point into Vakarine for the teleport… but town tp scrolls are cheap enough with the silver you accumulate later on.

In the PD tree I took 1 point from Bloodletting and put it into Fumigate, too situational for PVE? 1 point in Beak Mask in favor of getting Pandemic 1 for a spread of 5. 7 on lvl 2 is not good enough to warrant an additional point imo. I guess Beak Mask is mostly/only used for PVP?

For Druid I’m not sure… Shapeshift does not seem to benefit at all from not having Druid 2. But 1 point for the fun stuff does not hurt. I leave both Shapeshift and Telepath at lvl 1 for now and decide later on. No pvp means not much use for Telepath, right?

And lastly in the Cleric tree I took 1 Safety Zone level away in favor of Deprotected Zone for the Sword Attack attribute vs heavy armored enemies. I believe the debuff counts as a trigger for Incineration for cases where you are soloing without a group for perma debuffs.

And here the Priest version… which honestly has its benefits… considering that you make up for the loss of Druid damage with other beneficial skills like Monstrance, Blessing (strong with the KTOS buffs) and Revive. Druid1 would give me only 30 Charges of Damage for PVE although that’s a lot of damage… but nothing else basically only 1 skill for an entire class rank when it comes to PVE.

Though I wonder if the dmg from the priest buffs is enough for your party to get the cube… or if Druid1 would be better for that case.

Thank you so much for your effort! I’ve been playing as cleric 2 diev 3 priest 1 so far and it is awesome. I’m loving diev class so much. This class is totally my playstyle.

Anyway I’m hitting rank 7 soon, but I can’t decide which class should I roll next. PD offer that yummy status immunity, but is it really necessary for PVE or ET? I’m thinking about taking kabbalist too, but I heard that 7x skill only reflect damage once and not that good for PVE. Or should I take druid for more damage instead?

fyi i’m more of a pve player, for pvp i’m only joining gvg as support (i don’t like pvp and killing people ). statues are the best support in this game imo.

Thank you for providing updates on your ET adventure. I’m still hoping that the priest-less build will surpass the need for revival since I don’t really want to go that path. I have the same build as yours and torned multiple times for having either the druid or the priest r6 path, but carnivory is hard to resist. Currently at lvl 230 and excited to see if I’ll have the same dilemma of choosing the druid path lol. xD

@bdarwongso1 - Depends how much funding you can sink into Ele Lock. With maximum attributes and no Reversi counter, Ele Lock is pretty much as strong as it gets for magic damage. Understand that the brunt of its damage comes from Frost Cloud and three R7 attributes, which are ridiculously expensive, whereas Diev Doctor gets a huge amount of power from R1 attributes and owl, an R4.

@Medra - I’d advise against Deprotected Zone personally, but it’s okay if you take it. One point in Vakarine is fine for utility reasons. I’d take one or a few points in Zemyna just to un-bug Laima (known issue with the skill, Zemyna’s SP reduction updates the skills). If you have zero interest in PvP Beak Mask, Fumigate, and Telepath are entirely unnecessary. You can do something like Healing Factor Lv.5, Incineration Lv. 5, Bloodletting Lv. 3, Pandemic Lv. 2 as a better PvE compromise. As for Priest skills, Monstrance Lv. 1 is fine. Dump points in Aspersion.

@rosafedtschenkoana - Plague Doctor is fairly well-rounded. Does okay damage, has mint support and some CC contribution through Pandemic. Kabbalist has a little bit of damage, but has a nice mulligan through R7X (personally I like it in tandem with Joint Penalty). In high level PvE you will likely have Pass from Chronomancer for R7X uptime.

@Nymphh - With a really good team, you can probably get by without Resurrection, but I can only speak up to 15/F because my knowledge about ET beyond that point is somewhat limited. We don’t really die in my group unless on rare accidents.

Thanks for the answer

Update, we made it to 15/F for the first time in Earth Tower today. Maybe Priest C1 isn’t needed (but in general comps it’s still a lot more versatile and preferable). Druid C1 actually had a good purpose today other than just hitting a boss. Who would’ve thunk it?

Thank you for the awesome response lol and grats for the 15f ET, i hope u can give us some ET in depth guide for every floor in a VOD soon

Thanks for the input , just was trying to do something a little different and trying to see if another rank 7 would be decent in ET as well :stuck_out_tongue:

Would the build cleric2>diev3>druid2 be good for farming (silver, for example)? I started one but it seems that the go-to classes for farming are sorcerer or necromancer. I need a farming class but I don’t like those much…

Long cooldowns. If farming is your goal, avoid this class. Make an Archer for farming. Ranged low cooldown is the way to go.

I’ll get back to my fletcher then (still ranger). Thanks for the reply:+1:
