Buff Scam has punishment or is it allowed?

  • Description:
I sent a ticket with this information to imc and they said they would find out, but I found this player in Orsha again with these prices on January 16th and today (January 17th again). This type of scam goes unpunished and has no punishments, do you want to make money? Do as this player, up a pardoner and sale for abusive prices.

Same day, look how many players bought the buff? Players or GoldSellers, I do not know, we can not know.

Thinking seriously about making a pardoner…

Unfortunately it’s allowed.

Unfortunately this doesn’t break the rules, the best thing you can do now is adding the lodge name to your list of shame.

Its not a scam first of all. When you go to the store to buy something do you not check for the price of item you are buying? You don’t just grab it and swipe your card do you?

Imc could give a ceiling to pricing, that wouldn’t change prices much, only affect these scammers.

It’s way easier to make a Pardoner these days so people wouldn’t get too greedy with a ceiling to pricing

Separation of numbers… EX: 85,000…

Why some one would carry more than 50k in bag?

I see many wrong things on the game,

but this, this is your fault. (I mean, player’s fault).

Just like in Ragnarok people put Ygg with more zeros, what about you take a look on what you are buying?
This servers for real life too.

Same thing happened to Rank Reset. Tens of warnings about the LV come back to LV 1 again, and posts about “lost exp” still appear on the forum.

Scam? Nobody is forcing you to buy them and the seller can stablish the price as desired, am I wrong?

You are totally right!
The buyer is at fault for not checking the price.

this is in Klaipeda too, edit now xD

She is still doing this.
It’s funny how people say the guilt is entirely ours (buyers). This IS incontestably cheating (or, at least, dishonest). Because everyone knows (specially the scammers) LOTS of people plays at fast pace and, for a matter of a kind of a hurry. The ONLY intention of the scammers is to catch these people, not to offer the service itself (in exchange of the ACTUAL price). This, consequently slow down the gameplay of this game, as we should expect for every kind of dishonest deeds/people in this game and the cast of this company tolerates this kind of deed.
You guys are simply inciting people to feel comfortable by doing dishonest deeds.

Because it’s more comfortable for us to not put and retrieve silver in storage all the time? =p
But thank you, sir. I’ve learned this time and I’ll use this strategy now on. ;p

Altought its not a cheat, its dishonest.
At least this should be shamed.
The player community could make a black list for sellers like this, as even if it not directly impact the pardorner’s shop, people might think two times before doing abusive things like this.

unfortunately they are right… however, the devs can still lessen the scam (without conducting any sort of constant “witch hunts” on their own player base) by implementing a cap on the buffs prices so that shops can’t put ridiculous prices on their goods… we already have these sort of restrictions on our market like taxes and a 10 item limit per char… this is why it’s very difficult and costly to manipulate the treeofsavior market from a player’s perspective…

I agree with you.
The problem in allowing dishonest deeds in a game is that dishonesty itself is something too easy to get accommodated to. When a teen or child do that in a game, he/she will be more motivated to do such in real life/society. Game companies should NOT allow this. Either by punishing these people or by not allowing to do such in game. In this situation, they SHOULD cap the price of the buffs. Something like 5k cap per buff.
This is SUCH a serious situation. Because games are a lot responsible for molding the behaviorism of teens and children.
The most sad part of it is the players themselves who even defend these people, appointing total fault to the buyers. It’s a support for dishonest behavior. Sad…

No. Of course not. It’s not an easy task. Would be wonderful if it was. But they HAVE to. Game devs should not encourage young players to dishonest behaviors and should always find a way to restrict those or even erasing any way to do such. They CAN put a cap on buffs price and it’s not a hard work to them. There are some other problems already known and some still unknown (undiscovered). They have to eliminate or attenuate the already known ones and the undiscovered ones, once they get discovered and start to get being used.

The most important thing is to discourage this behavior.

yes, i agree with you about not encouraging this sort of behavior… however, making a blacklist usually leads to witch hunts that can be used to abuse other players… we should also be mindful and pay attention to the stuff that we’re doing, this is usually the best way to not get scammed in the game… implementing a cap on the prices is still the best solution hands down…
