I really think this is an interesting concept and but unlike the previous one I think just getting a mili second glimpse of this red indicator will make the battle more interesting and intense. just my 5cents.
nah -_-
imc need make bosses much much harder
Its actually a buff for Oracle called Forecast. If I remember correctly, people felt all the indicators made bosses way to easy… would you rather have the intensity forced with built in systems, or instinctively counter some big move you didn’t expect yourself, truly beating the boss with your own talent and feeling proud of countering it. Knowing where, how, and when monsters will attack is better to learn as a muscle since it immerses you into the game.
the red warning indicator or whatever u call it was not intended for actual ToS game, it was only in CBT to help us~ in future, only oracle and use a skill to show those red lines arrows whatever XD
well fair enough if it’s a skill of a certain class. but as an avid gamer for vs games and flying shooter games I just feel the intensity when I see the warning signs for just a millisecond. let’s just say that for like games like touhou (please google it up if you don’t know it) having the warning signs were the bullets will go and just giving a fraction of a sec to react makes me on top of my seat and for tekken seeing the characters doing a down leg sweep and just giving you a little time to react and counter makes it really rewarding. it just that seeing players jumping randomly all the time is kinda I don’t know doesn’t feel right at all. but of course it’s how they play I don’t have the right to tell them what they need to do but I feel that it will lessen this kind of thing if we can get the indicator back. I won’t really need the indicator if we can have a 3rd person view of it but seeing it on a birds eye view is kinda hard. but just my 5cents again. like i said if it’s a skill of a certain class fair enough. peace.
no thanks I hate “dodge the red circle” types of games I would rather learn a boss’s attack patterns and go from there
Nope, don’t be a pansy.
You call a mechanic that makes fighting bosses easier, intense?
And you call yourself an avid gamer, if anything, you’re kind is the reason games are getting laughably easier.
i’m not being a pansy dude it’s just that range characters will have a major advantage for this kind of game I’ve seen long range classes just go jumping and casting while melee players go toe to toe with the boss then die for like a hundred times.
it’s not making the game easier if you have .20 sec to react. if you think that it makes the game easy then you seem to have not tried any other games other than mmorpgs like wow or something. a tanker just go tank the boss and just seat their doing nothing while a healer heal him seems kinda lame to me.
oracles can do as people have said. so long as your’ partied with an oracle you can see monster telegraph if that oracle has the skill.
point taken. but this other dudes seems closed minded.
We’re being closed minded for not wanting easy mode?
I had a feeling you were broken in backwards to gaming but now you’ve just confirmed it, you’re just a wannabe mate.
you just have the mentality of just standing and tanking the boss and hopes it won’t i hit kill you or if you are a range character jump jump jump jump skill skill skill while jumping. until you get tired of doing the something all over again.
If you guys want to keep this type of conversation i suggest to make a private conversation. It wont add nothing to the topic…
In this type of game you need to learn how to fight a boss. Some games gives its figthing stances (red alerts or text ) to make your moves.
To me the 1st one is the better bcz i like this concept.
yes I do understand that they have stances but what about the bosses that sprays acids randomly you can’t predict that. chances are you’ll just randomly jump in these case. what i’m suggesting is to make the red alerts show but just a glimpse of it. i would be so pumped but if that will be the case. my reaction while playing would be WOAH! that was close! kinda reaction. but if you don’t have the red alerts my reaction will be like. oh shoot! jump jump jump jump jump jump might as well remove the jumping function and tank the boss.
No, boss needs to be harder than this.
Also, there is a class that is supposed to see the future (the red markings for boss attacks)
true so fair enough : )
fair enough but having the oracle skill showing the red markings will make the boss kinda a push over if the red marking show time will be too long. but anyways thanks.
I hope on 300+ maps bosses will be VERY hard solo(better impossible or with special build/gear and overall expensive/ineffective), if not - party system will be useless and that will ruin completely this game.
Yes for start locations is acceptable some “for beginners” features(red circles, npc/quest indication), but after one month of playing must be hard and party only with mandatory tactics, strategy, builds, gears etc.
