Boss Red Attack Markings - Remove

Just wanted to make a new topic about this, because just did seen someone mention it on other topic,

I think its a brilliant way to make the bosses more challenging and more rewarding.

so

Remove Boss red attack prediction marking! This will make it infinitely more fun!

also leave that to Oracle class it will make the class super super more desirable. :D:D

EDIT: Or Just leave them on for first 30 lvls max then no more

As soon as the server and bosses work as intended, I’m all for this idea. But I get hit so many times out-of-zone at the moment.

imo just give the bosses a more polished AI to improve difficulty or simply change the ground graphic to something like a cloud of dust, something less noticeable.

Sorry, but I don’t agree with you. This isn’t Dark Souls, you know?
And many bosses attacks are actually bugged, with ridiculous hitboxes that doesn’t give you any chances to dodge. (Im speaking as melee player)

Problem with improving AI is one thing, that can always be improved, however its not easy to achieve its not a 1 day job.
Im not a programmer but I know how it works and I must say improving Ai can be tedious and time consuming, taking month of dedicated work, I would leave that for future.

In meantime removing the red markings would be a quick fix to make bosses more challenging and ultimately more rewarding and fun!

Challenge = More satisfaction = More fun = Meaningful gameplay

@lesrrais226 I play a cleric low lvl. and have no problems with anything so far didnt test end game ofcurse would be diferent.

While removing red marking we coud then lower the hp and nerf a bit the dps classes and job done.

Bosses already have attacks that lack prediction marks.

Do you have no mercy for people with higher ping?

Eh…Only early level bosses shows marking on the ground. Later in game none of the boss attacks even show any marks lol. Play the game longer.

Don’t like this idea, for mellée is hard (with lag too) to dodge all skill, in end game content with boss mass hp + dammage, you don’t see that mark you die…

This sounds like a very very bad idea. I feel like the predictable areas add to the game and challenge, not take it away. it being random and all over the place would make the boss fights feel insanely generic.

Hum, this is already a thing, later on they begin becoming less and less common. For example, lv 64 boss Bramble, his only red marker is his AOE attack, which most people will not be able to avoid due to its enormous (not joking) range. It literally covers the entire area except the little tiny sort of a bridge entrance, which you won’t make to in time anyway (unless you have abilities to further the gap between you and him).
