Boss attack patterns

Make it more lively and instead of adding traps, give the boss more skills (i know its hard but you can try)

other than the above i find the boss quite fun to play with XD especially its tankiness haha

I don’t like the traps that much either but…

  1. Instead of adding more skills for the bosses, I would like if they scaled the Boss speed(attack, movement, casting) differently.
    Make the bosses slower than they are right now at full HP and then let their speed scale up the lower their HP goes until they get sickly fast.

  2. Traps should not be spawned until a boss reaches 50% of it’s max.HP or only at a very slow intervall.

This gives the player time to memorize the attack patterns of the boss and makes the bosses more challenging over time. It also adds a feeling of epicness, as ■■■■ only starts to go down once you reach a certain point in a fight.

I’d be alright with the trap mechanic if the fighting arena was smaller; at the moment, you just have to shift to a new section. It just delays the battle and doesn’t make it any harder. If the traps (MOAR TRAPS) actually obstructed you, it’d be interesting in my opinion.

ya, make it harder as the boss hp gets lower, that’d be fun XD

hmmmm, debatable but make the traps something that belong to the monsters, example spectar having mine traps, doesn’t make sense unless its hidden mines traps which came from the field cause its a mine instead of having them randomly appear out of nowhere

They should also make the hp pool lower if they make the fight harder in other ways. Currently the fights take forever and some of them cost a lot of pots, so a ramp up in difficultly may make the fight way to frustrating if they still take forever to kill.

but some bosses have an OK hp pool, so maybe those very tanky bosses that is really hard to kill even with a party

I agree,thematic traps would be wayyyy better instead of a fill-in mechanic.

That’s a really great idea, the less HP they have, the more challenging it would be. I didn’t played ToS yet, but from what i’m watching on youtube, looks like the bosses have the same pace from the start of the fight until the end.

Yea, that is a good idea. Make the bosses harder, and have them give more exp as a trade off.

Some bosses attacks were so slow it was ridiculous.

They are supposed to be challenging.
