Since there’s so many damn bugs that affect Bokor, I’ve decided to make this thread the main place where I will post all the bugs that I have or other people have found (with credits). Feel free to post any bugs you’ve found here and I will add them all to this post so that IMC will hopefully fix them sooner.

Forum doesn’t let you edit posts after a certain amount of time has passed (don’t know how long) and I haven’t been playing much to find/confirm any newer bugs. iCBT is ending soon as well. I will still be crossing out any fixes in this thread if it lets me when they (if) do get fixed.

* Effigy not applying the bonus damage on the 3rd hit.
(December 3rd patch on kCBT has fixed this, hooray! Probably won’t get this fix before beta ends.)
- Bwa Kayiman is canceling when you take damage.
The maintenance with the patch (11/04/2015) has made Hexing into a buggy mess and currently there are 2 very major issues with it.
A bit of information on how Hexing worked before first:
When you casted Hexing on a mob, other mobs (very) close to the target would also be Hexed. What it also did was debuff mobs on the way to the mob you were targeting. For example, if I had 5 mobs in a line and I casted Hexing on the 5th mob (the one at the back) all of them would be Hexed.

Now with the latest patch, the debuff only has the tiny splash and not the 2nd effect of debuffing mobs in a line which is very bad. Bokor really needs this to be able to do anything because killing one, maybe two mobs at a time is incredibly slow and would now have to rely on Damballa or Bwa Kayiman to do anything. Both require Zombies which you can’t always get.

You can see that these 2 mobs here are unharmed and have no debuff on them.

Hexing is dealing damage when it never used to (which isn’t really a big deal I think) and you can see this in the video as well. I managed to use it on a Peltasta friend that was holding C (Block) and the damage was blocked but the debuff still happened.

Something seems to have happened to the hit rate of Hexing and mobs are resisting it constantly. I don’t recall Hexing ever being resisted but it is now and at a very high rate. I fought a field boss before and I had 4 Hexings in a row miss when normally, it always hits. Even on Lv120 mobs (I’m Lv134 as of this post) I was getting a ton of resists and it seems to have a 30-40% resist chance. This is incredibly bad because Effigy needs it to even work.

Zombies are constantly changing target and are not sticking to the mob that they were attacking even if you use Tet Mamak La to stick them to one. They go to a mob, attack it a few times and then change target. They have always been bad at attacking things that they’re supposed to instead of hitting random stamina plants but the maintenance made it worse.

There is a problem with Cure affecting Bwa Kayiman that freezes Zombies and makes them uncontrollable and you can read more about it in the quote and thread below (thanks @Yura_May_Zing and @Sixaxis).

Damballa currently freezes you in place if you use another skill directly after casting and renders you unable to act until Damballa is (almost) gone. If you get hit during this state, you will do the animation for your skill but it won’t happen until Damballa is gone. An example of this would be the hand motion of Zaibas happening but the lightning tile not showing up.

I am mashing my 2 key (Zaibas while spinning around lol) and you can see that it doesn’t actually happen until Damballa is fading.

Damballa also has an issue of exploding Zombies but not doing damage to any nearby mobs. This usually happens when you Damballa in the middle of a Zombify which has summoned a Zombie into the purple sphere.

Zombies have trouble walking up some stairs which causes them to freeze in place if they can’t find a path which also makes Tet Mamak La not do what it’s supposed to.
I have added this picture of one set of stairs causing it (Mage Tower 5F at the very end) so you know what to look for but there are many more stairs and even flat bridges that cause this.

The skulls you place with Tet Mamak La can be destroyed by monsters though I’m not sure if this is a bug or not.

The Mackangdal spell effect can linger on all affected players if you get interrupted/knocked down/die and it lasts until you swap maps or log out. It’s only a visual bug so it’s nothing too serious.

Tet Mamak La can deal incredible amounts of damage and probably deals the most sustained damage in the game if the conditions are right. This is mainly because you can have around 8-10 skulls up which are all doing damage at once. This only really works if the mob has low enough defense (or lowered by something like Deprotect) and the skulls can also be buffed by Zalciai or Blessing (haven’t confirmed other buffs yet) to do even more damage.
Here, I am dealing a lot of damage to Kubas who is weak to Striking. This isn’t even the full extent of Tet Mamak La but it gives you a general idea of how strong it can be. I’ve had it tick much faster with a lot more skulls active at once.

The Effigy: Blind attribute makes mobs stand still and do nothing. If it’s a regular mob, it will regen its HP as if it was running back to it’s spawn location. This also happens on bosses but they don’t regen.

The blue targeting circle that you get with Damballa doesn’t accurately show how far you can go before you’re allowed to use it. You’re allowed to put the blue circle at a somewhat far distance before it lets you cast it. Tet Mamak La does not have this issue.
Update (12/04/2015):
The December 3rd kCBT patch has changed the way Damballa works so it may not have a targeting circle anymore, translated patch notes mentioned something about auto cast but there’s no pictures/videos of it.

Not exactly sure how this happened, but I used Damballa and the sphere didn’t appear, then my character started having a fit. Seems like Damballa has many issues.

Bwa Kayiman seems to be randomly hitting things from great distances even while you’re not using it. Bwa Kayiman has issues working properly when the Zombies are trying to go towards a Heal tile (when they’re at low hp) or Tet Mamak La. In a way, it could be intended to be able to speed up your Zombies towards Tet Mamak La but ideally whenever someone uses Bwa Kayiman chances are that they want to be able to run their Zombies through things and not towards a Heal tile (which honestly, should be removed or have an attribute that stops them taking Heal).

If you have high SPR, creating a Zombie out of a low level mob seems to shorten its lifespan dramatically. With no SPR, a Zombie (Chupacabra Lv6) lasted around 2 minutes and 40 seconds but with my regular build (239 SPR), they only lasted 20 seconds. This could be an issue with higher level mobs as well but I’m finding it hard to test how much HP SPR gives to the Zombies. The lifespan on higher level mobs seemed to be roughly the same (Lv156 mob), around 7s difference with no SPR and with SPR. I can’t really tell if that 7s is the bug or not.

The skulls from Tet Mamak La can damage things from the location you threw them at even if they are knocked away/gusted. Kinda awkward since the mob is getting hit by a skull that is 10m away. I guess it sort of works like a Fire Pillar would? The skull’s only function seems to be attracting Zombies and stopping the ‘damage’ if it dies.

Bwa Kayiman will not function correctly if a Zombie is stuck or is unable to find a path. Currently, each Zombie follows the Zombie in front of them (which Zombie they follow depends on when they were summoned, haven’t messed with it too much but I think it goes from oldest > newest) and if, for example, Zombie3 in the line gets stuck, Zombie1&2 will work fine but any Zombie behind Zombie3 will not move.

Possibly intended but when monsters walk through Zombify, they receive the Zombify debuff which lasts as long as the magic circle lasts but falls off if they walk out of it. Cure (which is also a magic circle with a duration) doesn’t do this so I thought this was a bit weird that only Zombify does this and it would be a great change if it didn’t fall off (please do this!).

Effigy can used without having to go through the animation occasionally which also lets you spam it. I’m not sure if it’s related to my ping or not (I play from Australia so 250ms+) but I am certain that it triggers when you receive a hit while holding a directional key. If I had to guess, it’s when you use Effigy and receive a hit at the exact same time.

Tet Mamak La can freeze certain bosses if you have enough skulls hitting them at once, causing them to not attack and not move. This can also desync a boss’ position with the server as it still thinks that Tet Mamak La is hitting the boss which causes ground based skills to miss because the boss is not ‘there’. This happens quite frequently with Necroventer (ignoring that he’s bugged) and other bosses that have some sort of attack that moves them such as Earth Canceril’s spin atttack.
About 5 minutes ago I managed to keep Dullahan frozen from 95% HP to 20% HP and he only unfroze because I stopped throwing skulls since he wasn’t summoning any traps and there weren’t any mobs around for me to Zombify.
This doesn’t happen on every boss but some bosses I can’t say for sure if it’ll work or not. Mineloader is one that I can never do mainly because it destroys the skulls and constantly moves around.

Some people are having issues using Bwa Kayiman and other skills that channel the same way such as Ice Bolt when moving in certain directions, could possibly be related to Keyboard mode. More about it here:

After the maintenance on 11/24, Bwa Kayiman is canceling when you take damage. This also used to happen before the maintenance on 11/04.

Please fix these as soon as you can as these bugs are incredibly annoying and it sucks the enjoyment out of Bokor. I really don’t want to have to wait weeks for fixes while Bokor is this broken. I’m sure there are more bugs that I’m missing and I will update when I find more.
