[BM] Build ideas?

Hello, i though i’d make a topic for that, that way you guys could also just post build ideas while answering my questions (and we’d have everyting in 1 topic too ?)

Alright so, i’m kinda new to the game, but i definitly wanna do a BM whenever it comes out on Fedimian.

I looked into most classes and i came up with a build, but i’m not sure if it’s good or not.

I’m thinking of mostly going for BM AA (seen vids of it and apparently it’s the best for damages ? Or atleast in the vids i’ve watched, it seemed to be).

So huh… yeah. What do you guys think about it please ?

PS:I’ve been reading the other topics, i know some of you guys have mentionned other builds but so far there seems to be a huge debate about about what could be done once you become a BM.

I think that an Archer 2- QS 3 - Falcon 3 - BM might be better for AA builds because the instance already max at 5.

But if you want an BM 2, I would not even take Falconer at all to be honest, QS don’t get nothing from Circling and maybe only Napalm bullet gets from the BM, because Blood Overdrive don’t get more hits during the skill.

So maybe Rogue or Scout instead of Falcon 1 in your build?

Alright, thanks a lot for the reply !

I’ve been thinking about all these ideas for the past 2 hours lol.

I’m gonna go with your idea (A2 - QS3 - FA3 - BM1), i’ve been reading all the other topics again and i think this should work out.

Skills-wise i’m gonna go for this, i think :

I’ve read that some skills (Sonic Strike mostly) might not be too good damage-wise, but i still think maxing it could be a good idea, mostly because of Pre-Emptive Strike (basically doing more damages if anyone gets too close to me).

For QS’ Stone-Shot, i’ve seen people keeping it at lvl 10, but i think the 2 extra seconds from lvl 15 could be useful in PVP (especially with a team).
I’m not sure if putting so many points in Rapid Fire is a good idea though, but i’m not sure where to put these points anyway.

Edit: i linked the wrong build -_-

I maxed out sonic strike since it’s better than Hovering in my opinion ( both damage and area of effect are better), and casting pre-emptive strike with hovering removed is really good source of damage and you don’t have to cast it every 5 seconds like a Magic arrow.

i can’t understand this sentence “basically doing more damages if anyone gets too close to me”

I mostly meant compared to not maxing Sonic Strike. For example, having the skill at lvl 1 would probably do less damage compared to having it at lvl 10, even if it would be triggered by Pre-Emptve Strike.

15 points in circling are too much, 5 is fine and as Falc3 you want the “expand” attribute

I prefer this distribution :
1 call
0 roost
5 circling
0 or 3 hovering
15 pheasant (stun attribute remove knockdown)
1 hanging shot
10 sonic
5 aiming (max it for a long duration)
5 pre-emptive

Ah thanks ! i wasn’t sure about Hovering at all, i though about maxing Aiming at first but i wasn’t sure if it’d be worth maxing.

I suppose Roost is just useless for this ? I’ve read that it mostly helps for farming (keeping the falcon in a small area to farm silver for example).

LEt me fix this for you.

You don’t max aiming for increased duration. You max it for increasing its size. Increased duration is just a nice bonus.

You thought right.

Roost is useless now. Roost was a skill that was worth it when Rank 6/7 was the cap back in the day. Ever since rank 8 and a few buffs to Falconer, roost has become an obsolete skill.
What happen was that Call use to be a 15+ second cd. So chaining Falconer skills was time consuming without Roost. Call was then changed to be 1 sec cd, thus making Roost obsolete. That and Pre-Emptive Strike allows the falcon to not fly away after using skills (sometimes).

Roost is a noob trap now. I mean you can use it for a soft aggro, but that’s not worth the skill point nor the work because aiming aggro’s enemies anyway.

I see, so Roost is obsolete now ? That’s… pretty interesting actually, i wonder how many skills are like that now…

Oh well, that gives me 1 more point to spend on other skills, that’s cool :satisfaction:

Yes.
What @Su-Kral gave you for skill distribution is correct. Falconer has very little in the way of point allocation, and by that I mean really none.

Here is a better skill tree website.

Here is what while be the best skill allocation with your build (this is korean version showing you BM):

Must have attributes for Falconer (priority order):

  2. https://tos.neet.tv/attributes/310010
  3. https://tos.neet.tv/attributes/310011

Wow, thanks !

Actually, that korean site is what i used earlier to look at the BM skills, i wish it had videos but i guess it’s better than nothing. Didn’t know there was an english version though :open_mouth:

As for attributes, thanks, i looked at them a little when thinking about the builds but didn’t really think of priority order. Bet that’s gonna help a lot once i reach that class.
