Better shop please

Alot of people that will play this game are RO veterans, or atleast played RO, means, they are a bit older, have a job, can afford things. Most of them want a fair shop, because we want a fair game. Everyone is sick of this P2W bullshit that’s going on in basically every game. Yet here we are arguing if THIS game, that we’ve all waited for, since… let’s not even think about it, is pay to win, that’s just wrong. If you have to think about it, if you can argue about it, THEN it is pay to win. Minor things such as movementspeed increases, are pay to win, if you say it does’nt matter, then you are either blind or you don’t care. Either way, i will pay 50€, i will pay subscription fee’s, im okay with that, but if the trend goes further the way it does, i will just stop to play the game and gues what, at that point you will get 0€ every month, while it atleast could have been 20€.
I know im not alone with that, so i think the loss of money will be MUCH bigger in the long term.
What to do?

Make all headgear’s ingame the same look, maybe make a difference between leather and metal and such things, but thats it.
Sell Headgear skins (NO STATS) + dye’s forl $, not tradeable.
Same for costumes, give us dye options in the shop.

Subscription = 5x dye of choice(every month)+ fully unlocked inventory + fully unlocked storage. Free stat + skill reset every new month. Unlimited town portal scroll(the fee for those are nothing anyways, so just for the convinence).

Pets =Just little pets (dog, cat, fox, hedgehog … you get the idea) that follow you around and just be cute or funny. just make them small so they dont bother anyone.

Make everything payable… Jesus, what is going on lately, costume prices beyond good and evil, who the fuk wants to buy multiple costumes if you have to pay half a fortune for this. I know alot of people who’d gladly pay for multiple costumes, just not 20€ each.
I can only point at RO, how many people there have been sitting in the town with cute headgears and doing nothing all day long but chatting and, well… being cute.
Please don’t give us this pay to win ■■■■.

i can’t believe the constant stream of complaint, whatever good IMC do the complaint always rolls nonstop.

It’s the pre-hype-post-hype syndrom.

Peopel start to churn out ideas, when the game hasn’t even been up official for 1 minute.

We don’t even know what htey have pallend exactly atm.
And surely we will get them to change it to a better version … over time.

But pleaes stop with these posts …

hey on a more serious note though, i’ve been through a few game forums like this and some i even contributed for years. and thinking back you’re right, this seems to always happen when a game is about to release, i wonder why.

Cause people can’t wait.

They want changes now. That are good to them.

Heck.
Even if IMC messes up big with cash shop and market shemes…
They will have time on their side.

One month to “open beta” and longer to “realese”.
People will most likely quit here and there, but as long as they don’t pull a “guys buy this weapon of epic from the shop now!” it will be alright.

Things that needs to be adressed… isn’t even known if it’s really in or not.

  • market restrictions (± 10% max / min price)
  • no 1:1 trade
  • no buy in shops
  • heavy restirction on dungeons?
  • p2w discussion about 3 movement speed and a few stats via lottery tickets… (and for fun, use search function and read it up)

PS: I like token tradeing. I don’t enjoy mindless grinding for silver that much. Might spend 20 bucks or 60 bucks to get a push in silver at times. But heck, i love grinding with a goal in mind … Is it pay to win to buy from others via real money? Yes and No. It just shortens the time you would need to play. It doesn’t give you benefits over others players that are unachieveable…

PPS: I spam it atm… caus eit fit sperfectly to all these whine threads…

Free start+skill reset every month is pay2win actually.

It shouldn’t be given out that easily.

And please, don’t even bother mentioning pets, they are essential for some classes and every single one can be bought very easily with silver.

If they were giving out unique one with better stats, then it’s pay2win.

But I agrer that there should be no stats in cash shop.
Dyes is also a good idea, hear and costume dyes would be nice.

no 1:1 trade is the stupidest thing i’ve ever seen in an MMO in my life though. i mean seriously, in my whole life.

even then i want to just take a step back and let them catch a breath for a moment.

Haha, people shitstormed because 3 months wave beta… how much will people shitstorm when they can’t trade at all xD…

You could easily get stuff and peopel pmed you when they wanted to sell, but at other prices. … That was the perfect system.

1:1 trade with buy in shops and AH as 3th medium of trade.

Ironically the cash shop was put in place so games can be free to play try going back into the glory days of raganrok online where it was all subscription base the amount of people complaining because they don’t want to pay but wanted to play…

Goes to show that people just want want want but never look at the bigger picture and if it does not suit there view they use terms such as “p2w” reminds me of people who brag in FPS how badass they are and when someone nocks there KDR down they blame the lag or believe that they don’t suck so much that they claim the other person was using hacking or cheating.

What I am getting at is first it was games went F2P due to people dislike subscriptions now we have people disliking the method that made the games go F2P because the method has a drawback to it so I want to ask those smarty’s if you think of a better idea then a cash shop please do tell and lets see if anyone would in fact buy from it because cosmetics only go so far.
