I’m currently Lv.167 and planning to take Falconer R6 for Circling to optimize my Archer C3’s Multishot, and will likely go Cannonner for R7. My stats (including equip bonuses) currently stands at 150+ Dex, a bit of Con (7k+ HP), and 150+ Str. I’m planning to pump my Str going forward.
I’m looking for an all-around bow for PVE, group PVP and GVG (I have 1 rank in Scout) that I’ll be using for quite some time since it might take me a while to get to R7 as I don’t get to play much, and as I see it both bows seems better than the lv.220 ones.
I’m also aiming to +5 the weapon, slot a Vubbe Miner gem along w/ 2 other gems (Crit rate maybe) so trying to have both would be too costly.
Maga
I’ve been reading around the web and am leaning towards getting a Maga Bow primarily due to its +1 AoE Attack Ratio and +184 attack against large types.
Cons would be that it only drops BY CHANCE at 190 dungeon which on my luck level I probably wouldn’t be able to get (I haven’t gotten an Arde ever since) and AH price starts at 3M on my server (Telsiai). I currently have ~1.8M and about 40 talts.
I’m willing to farm just to be able to buy one though.
Khasti
People say this one is suitable for high/pure Dex builds, which mine isn’t. My thoughts on this was that it could be viable w/ Crit rate gems. Also, it’s price starts at a more affordable 650k in the AH compared to 3M for the Maga.
PVE-wise I feel like I’d be dealing more damage when landing multi-crits w/ the Khasti but I’m not sure if that theory goes beyond paper since higher level mobs tend to have better crit resistance or am I missing something? Must be OK for PVP.
So, which one should I go straight for? Maga or Khasti? And why?
