I was hoping to get some insight on what would be a good build for someone playing on an xbox controller. I’ve read that it’s not recommended to play on a gamepad, but I love how the archer plays. I am looking for mostly a PvE/DPS build. Thanks for all the recommendations.
In my own limited experience I can still eliminate machine gun builds from your possibilities. Gamepad cannot auto attack as fast as mouse mode, not to mention you want under 100 latency ideally and the servers are unstable right now even if you do. No big loss there.
That said I think any other build SHOULD work fine. Ranger3 Fletcher3 might give you some headaches with not being able to accurately target crossfire to hit more mobs though. Archer3 Scout3 is called the spammer, you can litterlly get by mostly using one skill bind for that build namely split arrow. If you like oblique shot alot that’s the way to go as it’s essentially just an upgrade to it.
Also consider going Sapper / Wugushi (especially the 1st one, it’s just that Wugushi goes pretty well with Sapper cuz AoE all day errday).
Most of the sapper’s skills are close ranged, no AoE targetting or anything, thus making it very gamepad friendly imo.
I’m using gamepad and doing very well with a Wugushi C3 build. The targetting isn’t that awkward, and you get used to it 
could an A3 : Scout 1 : Fletcher 3 build work out?
