Best Boss Killer Classes!

Hi guys, i’ve come back to the game a few weeks ago, and so everything has changed.
Could u guys tell me the best classes for boss killer? I know some, like hacka(fletcher) and doppel, but i do know about the others(if someone has some link or topic about this, pls tell me and i will erase this one)

Thank u all!

CryoKinoRC for Wiz is still a strong bossing class and excels on both destroying bosses and cc chaining enemies.

With a buffed Hail Elementalist also does well on bossing scenarios, along with having very good AoE damage to boot.

My guild master runs a Wugu~Musk build that works on bossing scenarios too with Wugu’s DoTs plus Musk’s burst.

Shinobi for sure and I hear monks do good too!

Thats sounds nice, i will look up for those classes!

I knew that cryokinoRC was a boss killer since ever, but if u miss the combo, you are “dead”, right?

Second this! I almost forgot about Shinobis. My shinobi friend deletes ET bosses with my Storm Calling + Kagura debuffs.

When you guys talk about Shinobi, its tha common build, shinobi, pelta, rod and Murmillo build, right?

They gave a focus attribute to Psychic Pressure that prevents them from getting cancelled unless knockdowned.

Pretty much. The other way was to have an Inqui friend Breaking Wheel~AA the walls in case you get cancelled or have a Dopp Cyclone it.

Edit: My friend was using a Swordie 3 Hoplite variant but I cannot give the whole build at the moment since he’s offline and I can’t remember the circles he got other than Swordie 3, Hoplite, and Shinobi.

either doppel or fencer, anything else fall behind by a lot.

Murmillo is way more powerful against bosses than Doppel.

Fencer+hop-goon.

In the end everything depends on eq anyway.

Lol, sorry to burst your bubble but murmillo don’t even come close to doppel dps

Sorry to burst YOUR bubble but yes, Murmillo builds are better, the Ugly helmet damage atributte and shinobi compatibility put the class in another league in terms of damage

Main problem with shinobi-murm is that clones dont get murmillo attributes for pelt/rode skills.
Also so far By like 20 people testing even pelt3-rode3-murm does more dmg than pelt1-2/rode2-3+shinobi+murm
It sounds crazy but that missing pelt3 or rode3 actually hits harder than shinobi with couple half assed rode/pelt skills with no attributes. All shino+murms changed to pure murms or other builds after combat patch. It kinda killed shinobi+murmillo combo.

Looks good on theory but doesnt do so much in reality.
Any other shinobi build hits way harder.
Also doppel3 with good gears still hits harder. You do dmg cap with many multihit skills and slash debuffs.

edit. who knows if rank9 meta could be something like sw3-barb-x-doppel3-shinobi.

Thankfully no one mentioned druid 2 or druid 3 here. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

For swordsman tree, none can beat multi-hit skills like fencer or dop
But I’ve seen something intriguing with a dragoon murm combo.
Gaebalg hits boss, murm headbutt, scutumx3, headbutt, pel/rod skill (strike attacks) : series of combos, etc etc … all will be multiplied by two, during gaebalg de-buff which I think is 10s…Pretty tanky too coz its a mur, you can lay it all out on the boss on a close range fight beacuase of the mur’s tankiness and ability to redirect the boss attack (headbutt skill). You can see your high damage skills getting multiplied.

But gaebalg also works for other patk in the party so don’t expect to top other patkers with multi hits burst if both of you are on equal grounds meaning same type of raw damage output on a normal hit. Imagine a doppel in your PT then you Gaebalg debuff the boss. If you’re not on top, maybe 2nd mostly. But a murm drag combo for a boss killer? Its viable, really huge damage.

For matk, almost all are good boss killer, you just need good equips.

Overall, if you have good items any DPS type of character can be a boss killer.
Even cleric’s heal tiles can deal massive damage to a boss mob.

I believe that unless you got good defensive gears, Doppelsoeldner is one of the worst Boss Killers, because he will get his @$$ handed to him easily on a low CON/low def build.

All that you state almost always includes other Classes to support the character in question. No what can Doppelsoeldner actually do without any Heals/Frost Pillars/Quickens/Passes? It still has high damage skills, especially Zornhau, but aside of that?

If you’re not full STR you get less boost from GungHo or without DEX, you’ll have a lot less boost on Cencentrate, so most people will opt to go full DEX/STR or a mix of both. Then they get hit by the lightning skill of Helgasercle(?, dunno if that one is the right boss) and die because they take 70-120k damage to the face.

Instead of killing the boss, the boss is the killer and the Doppelsoeldner is dead meat on the floor.

Murmillio is by far the better boss killer because he can actually survive the battle due to the extra shield defence, ability to block melee attacks and avoid some magic attacks. Sustainability is what counts in real bossfights, not only top DPS that’s on life support 24/7 [and thus can’t live without all those Chronos & Clerics].

If you’re talking about the paper-mache bosses in dungeons or ET and include support, at Rank 9 any Oracle C3 will be the top boss killer of bosses up to 18m HP with the support of Kabbalist C3 and enough “luck” to get a decent number via Gematria/Notarikon.

As level 6 Twist of Fate will remove 20-24% of the bosses HP and is capped at 1,99m HP, if this hit gets multiplied by Double Chance lvl 11 to at least 5 hits (if the target has less than 10m HP) or 5+ hits (if the target has more than 10m HP), the boss is dead in 3-5 seconds without the need for any investment in attributes or equipment.

Could u explain this? hahaha i didn’t get it! XD

This is true. In prolonged boss fights (Not Saalus - don’t measure performance by that) shinobi murmillos drop off due to the long cooldown of clones, meanwhile pelt rode has skills with good synergy that lets it keep up dps while clones are down (esp with high guard attribute)
