I made a video for beginners about Tree of Savior.

Just some basic information that I see people asking about a lot, like the class system, pvp, gear in general, and the cash shop.

Yes all the music is from ToS, if your interested in which ones I used in particular, here is the list in order:

  1. Constiuency by SFA
  2. Viento by SFA
  3. Dievas Veliava Instrumental by SFA
  4. Bears Mountain by Questrosound

There are no beta keys, you can only purchase early access or play open beta on April 28th, which won’t require a beta key.

So, I have a few beginner questions that I couldn’t find a straight/updated answer to anywhere else.

  • I understood that when choosing your class you had to pick certain classes at certain ranks and could not backtrack.
    Is it still this way or has it been changed so that you can choose to advance any class as long as you have passed the required rank?
    Ex. Swordie > Peltasta > Hoplite > Peltasta > barbarian

  • Is it possible to use a buff that requires a specific weapon, then switch to a different weapon and retain said buff?
    Ex. Hoplite’s Finestra requires you have a spear equipped. Can I use Finestra, then swap to 2-h swords and retain the Finestra buff?

  1. Yes it has been changed so you can backtrack now. A class is never locked away from you as you rank up now.

  2. You can not retain buffs like finestra when switching weapons, it will disappear.
