They find a way to lure away grim reaper and bee farm still full of AFK Farmer. is there any way for us not afk farmer to grind/farm? every grind/farming spot we go theres full of bots and afk necro. i find after doing my dailies i have nothing to do since everywhere i go to farm silver for gear its all occupied by this afk farmer.
even if they “solve” this problem, the damage has already been done. mass inflation of silver cannot be reversed
theres only 1 solution to this, and i guarantee it wont happen
first, let me explain something. imc actually has PUBLIC logs of how much silver a specific character has obtained from monsters. again this info is public, and can be obtained by speaking to a class-master npc in klaipeda. i honestly forgot her name as for how i recall it, this npc just makes me angry and ive purposely tried to forget about it due to how much silver she will state afk farmers have obtained
now with this knowledge being public, imc should reset the attributes for ALL characters of any afk necro owners.
we will have to deal with the silver inflation in the market, its something that cant be reversed, but if all the 100% attribute sh1tters get their attributes reset, it will help balance their unfair advantage theyd had on us now for over half a year
but i know imc wont do anything about it, so have fun knowing no matter how hard you train theres going to be hundreds of afk necros that have been farming silver for over half a year and have 100% attributes with zero effort in which you will never catch up to them.

You cannot blame people for something GMs said explicitly it’s not forbidden.
Look, i tried to farm with a friend in dina bee, what happened ? my little compagnon attacked grim reaper, we died.
Grim reaper, i said, is a very bad solution (but GMs can only do this,they’r not dev).
Go try to farm in demon prison, it’s so hard to avoid reapers this place is totally dead.
Now, take any classes that have summons / pets. What can they do ? They can’t use they skills designed for their class to play “actively”, pets and summons attack anything.
So sorc / necro / bokor / that archer class with pet, they’r all forbidden in this places cause if they play with their skills normally they will aggro reaper and die.
Yeah i’m myself a necro, make a rule to make afk farm forbidden and i stop the second it is posted, because actually it’s not forbidden, i’m following the rules and do what is not fobidden.
I’m not making millions like everyone say, but problably because necro is my main and also first char and i play it a lot with friends to do dungeons and quests. I’m making much more money doing quests in 280+ places than an entire day of AFK. I think, “maybe”, the impact of afk necro is a little over-estimated. Bots do much more damages to the game.
Yea i’m a necro and i agree with everyone afk farm shouldn’t be possible, make summons attack what you attack and problem is solved (and this is something already existing in the code, bats from sorcerer attack what you attack, add this to all summons, prob solved, also summons would be less “dumb” this way ^^).
BTW some people are able to kill that lvl 500 grim reaper, an other reason why it’s useless. Make it invincible and ppl will find a way to move it or w/e.
Conclusion : grim reaper is a bad idea in all ways, afk is a bad idea too but not illegal …

Every time I read this kind of post, it makes me sad and asking why am I playing this game.
IMC’s handling on iTOS is just garbage. Throw some GMs that can’t do anything and translate a few posts here and there and that’s all they’re doing to maintain the game environment.
We get whatever that’s requested by Nexon and/or X2GAME and never anything specifically to make iTOS better.
Bots / AFK farming isn’t as extreme of an issue in the Nexon publishing areas so we get no attention to it. (KR and maybe also JP requires your personal ID to register the game iirc)

Spam official tickets, get them banned. That’s the only thing you can do.
That’s how I got rid of bot chain on Varena server - took couple of days to tracking, screenshoting and reporting, but it is thing worth doing.

Also don’t get discouraged by people stating AFK farm is all legal and causes no damage to the inflation.
We now have a lot of people AFK farming due to IMC doing almost nothing so they’re just defending their 0 effort way of making silver.

Just for reference to anyone, this NPC is the Oracle class master, and she is right by the Archer class master. It costs 1 to 2 TP to see a few interesting stats!

I don’t think I understand the point of this thread. There are AFK farmers that are not doing anything wrong. Are you asking for a policy change and retro-active banning or something? The former is reasonable, but you aren’t really asking for something like that. The latter is ridiculous.
Also, if you can’t outfarm someone thats AFK then you’re not really trying very hard.

they should make something that when they lure the grim reaper it will return to the spot after like how many mins, if you think they are not doing wrong then theres a problem in your head. it affect low levels for leveling/grinding and farming also they killing the market and the game for their self interest
Do you really think without necros you would be able to grind/farm in dina bee? you forgot the warlocks?
there are no necros in demon prison 2 and mausoleum and yet i dont see anyone farming in these farming spots besides wl’s
You cannot report afk farmer because it is LEGAL. Only botting is not legal. Gm at most will come to disconnect afk farmer but will not ban them.
Why KTOS and JTOS bans afk farmer but not ITOS? any good reason for this IMC?
Also i would like to take this opportunity to laugh at white knights who thought IMC did something good for once - they always half-ass everything on ITOS and will never change.

Nothing selfish is here about necro. You still can do quest on Bee farm. You still can farm by yourself on other channels. You can join necroparty for exp, almost every necro accept everyone who want to join party.
But well, yes, we all understand that afk farmer got anything that he want. But if this is LEGAL thing, why do you need to complain?
