I’ve got questions regarding skills compatibility for some of the archer subclasses.
The thing is: I’ve created a Arch2 + Qs3 + Sr2 and was pretty happy with it so far, but I noticed that Running Shot and Kneeling Shot do not work with the the secondary weapon basic attack. In my case, the secondary weapon is a Manamana pistol.
Now, my understanding is that the secondary weapon basic attack is, in fact, a basic attack right? Going with that in mind, I went trying things out and: In Keeling Shot case, you can’t attack at all with your secondary weapon; while with Running Shot, the skill neither increases the attack speed nor the attack damage of the pistol basic attack. The skill also won’t allow me to shoot while moving, which is the case for the bow and crossbow basic attacks.
Feeling I should clear this out before leveling up even more with this character, I would like to know if in fact this is intended to happen or if it’s some kind of bug? This is my only question and the answer is likely to make me reroll my character.
While we’re in this topic: Is it okay to presume the same will apply to Hackapell melee basic attack too?
Hope someone out there can enlighten me on this, and sorry if this was already asked.
