Of course, it’s up to them, but since we were sure my friends were banned wrongly we claimed for transparency. If you want to be IMC’s attorney in this, go ahead. But since they pretty fcked up pretty much the community already, I wouldn’t start defending something totally secondary to the problem many innocent players were facing, and some continue to face.
If they have or not have to, is a stupid debate after all the sh*t that happened; the problem was solved for my friends, and u ppl still keep looping on something meaningless and that doesn’t help the game, the company and the community. Congratz!
I just think it is a bad precedent to set - if everyone who is banned requires to know why it would just been needless busy work.
Also plenty of people who are rightfully banned will cry wolf and claim they are wrongly banned and need to know why.

I just dont see how It’s the community business in why he got banned just PM the staff and wait for an answer…no need to make a thread if its personal.I mean what can we do about him getting ban?What he expect us to say or do?This issue need to be addressed to them and wait and be patient for a concrete answer.
I suppose he wanted a show or drama for the staff to notice this thread so they will contact him.I don’t see any other reason why he would make it public when it has nothing to do with the community instead of sending a ticket and PM the staffs and wait for the answer he wants.
That’s not my problem. I came here to help my friends, and it came out right, while a sh*tload of haters came here to speculate without proof or anything to screw around something pointless, on behalf of a company that was sending almost automated answers.
To ask for transparency is a bad precedent? Ask yourself that. They received privately the reason why they were temporarily put on hold, and even IMC apologized the way they handled the issue.
If you guys are gonna wait patiently for others to fix things, or address them, ideally, then it’s up to you. The opinion of many is bigger than the opinion of one, and, most important of it all, if are being forced onto something and you don’t fight/react, then sorry, to wait patiently for someone else to save you looks very passive to me. I would be dead in my society if it were like that.

as someone who have friends who lost things and was affected by this mess i found most of all flooding in the forum very shameful of all of you so no you guy`s did not help anyone.
you may disagree with me and im sure you all will do but most people who came here, came to try help their friends in any-form they can or at least majority of them , even in serious threads created for those who was wrongful banned.
but almost none of you did help anything at all, because you all forget the reason of why you came here and started arguing with each other and this on the other hand created problems for everyone else.
since where the best course of action for example in the thread for wrongful banned was to post ONLY people who lost acc’s or gold and so on in a manner of :

so the staff could pick it up and check everything but people started flooding and/or finger picking with one another in the thread and this was very shameful for everyone involved and you can say that you came to help your friend but i do not have seen it, sorry!.
this is also valid to those who feed the flooding too.
we are a lot of players, the staff are not, how you guy`s expect the staff to filter everything that should be filtered in time so they can help those who is needed ? this should also be the reason of why they forgone the forum all together, a complete waste of their time to filter 100msg’s for one useful one, even more when 99,99% of people complaining and tagging staff was not putting their team name and server, and writing 10000X words of text, again we probably outnumber the staff 20 to 1, you want to HELP, make it short and precise, even more if you gonna tag them.
and the worse of it all is that everyone liked to say, i know you did X, and you did Y, and no one posted one ■■■■■■■ SS or send a ticket so they are banned.
this another thing the staff mentioned in their last week msg, where they can not know who is trolling or not in the forum anymore because of this finger pointing so instead of keeping it cool and organized so the staff COULD CHECK THE FORUM AND THREAD what you all did was made them leave the forum at all together and did not open anymore in this entire week, simple as that, no one who did this helped anyone in this mess, because i bet all the money/time/ that i lost in this mess and i even did not use the market that this was the same very reason of why they did not came to the forum or even checked the threads anymore past day 1 or 2 to know what is happening because of all the trolling, point fingers at one another and so on.
and just before anyone come to say i only came here to flood/complain as well.
i gonna post a useful information since i’m bet soon enough people is gonna ask/complain too. ,in their announcement , people who lost money-items the recovery process is not done yet.
I would recommend to send a ticket after maintenance,until them is better to wait.

In other games, when staff could see who is lying, trolling, derailing serious topics, they just delete and banned messages / forum accounts if needed + ban in game too to for a random period of time.
All you people had to do was make your case once, and then wait. With all your forum and ticket flooding, did it ever occur to you that they might get to your case faster if IMC wasn’t so busy swimming through all the bullshit you guys were throwing?
I know right? For all your bitching about transparency and lack of communication, when you finally get unbanned, you stopped caring. You don’t actually give a ■■■■ about either of those issues, both of which will persist the next time this happens.
You mean like that response from the announcement you quoted? Pure automated answer right there. The entire post can be summarized as “we’re still looking”, and “we’re sorry”. Which, by the way, is the exact same thing they’ve been saying for the past week. There’s even a line saying they’ll get around to telling you why they banned you, yay!
Did people need saving from the tyranny that is IMC? Or did you want a cookie for being the knight in shining armor? At most, people needed to gather around Foxie, because if Foxie couldn’t get unbanned, everyone else had a snowball’s chance in hell at getting unbanned.

Wow, you amaze me. You have several facts wrong.
First, you know OP wasn’t me, right? The first ones to retaliate were you guys; I came in support of my friends (I was never banned and I don’t believe im a knight in a shining armor, wow, u so funny jeez), who in Foxie’s topic were later added to the list when I posted there. I know her from the game, and we supported each other.
While you haters were bi.tching about how uncivilized is to tag on a forum (and some made polls to wipe silute), we were asking for transparency, since they were sending tickets and all they got was like they broke EULA terms and were PERMANENTLY BANNED, and on later tickets, “This cannot be reversed” (no line about “we’ll let you know”), and since we knew they didn’t do anything wrong, we wanted a clear process of what happened to understand. That was all. As I said, you wouldn’t understand since you are UNABLE to put yourself in the place of others.
You are undermining IMC later statement, but that’s your problem. For me, that would have been the first thing they should have done in the first place. COMMUNICATION
FYI, as my friends live together, one was temp banned because of IP. And the other one because that user who had the hack of unlimited silver bought something from him on the market. And that explanation was sent to them by IMC. TRANSPARENCY
Since both points were cleared, your point, again, INVALID. Now, I’ll stop replying to ppl that can’t understand others situation, even, from another server, even more after what we were looking for was achieved. If this topic didn’t help, IDC, but I’m pretty sure didn’t made it worse. Good to know now the amount of haters around here. You sure were very usefull.

No one was banned for this though, they were only banned if they tried to take advantage of the situation by listing things extremely overpriced.
All you guys did was make a whole bunch of noise, you did literally nothing to help the problem and all your friends were going to be unbanned regardless of your tantrum.
No one from other servers can really empathize with people who harbored the guy who wrote the hack, harbored the people who bought the hack, listed things really overpriced to take advantage of the hack, or who shared an IP with any of them. And they aren’t worth sympathy, either. Wrongfully banned people, sure, but at this point given the behavior of the lot of you I’m not inclined to think that anyone was banned in error.
edit: and this is further proven by the fact that a super small number of people got banned from other servers and almost everybody banned was from Silute–because there was such a high volume (comparatively) of people who bought the hack and an even higher one of people trying to take advantage (look at all the screenshots of the list of items for sale).
