Tree of Savior Forum

Banned without motives or evidence exposed by imc

The last few days we’ve seen our little tree burning downn hands of infinite silver hackers and sustained by the lack from IMC staff who must have been taking care of it.
On this process has came out to the light a lot of issues without a clear and transparent answers and absolutely far from the right responses times as it should be.
Users banned without concrete reasons from IMC without the proper answers, IMC getting automatic copy/pasted responses… just like being flooded on a big sea when nobody can listed or be heard. In some ways this is something like being pointing by someone with a finger and say “ban” without any reason or explanation.
The lack of feedback from the Staff/IMC within this week has been a main issue. Every time an user has tried to expose some topic related on the forum, the staff is not getting involved, doesn’t interact with the community and gives no responses at all, leaving them with more doubts and worries… and even deleting the most conflictive topics giving absolutely no answers.
I’m not one of the wrongly banned players (in fact I’ve never been banned) and I’m a veteran player (playing since day 1) which has lead me to meet and know people in all that time who has been banned without reasons now, and is natural that I can and want to put on their feet, understand their worries, their position and even sharing anger.
But… How IMC explains someone that has been banned on this process? they just response saying “You have violated the EULA/Terms of Service”
And… What kind of response you get when you are banned and you haven’t violated EULA/Terms of Service? with the same automated answer "You have violated the EULA/Terms of Service, no more information, no details not even a single reason. When someone commit a misdemeanor/felony, maybe someone steal something, the police takes you to the office or jail, they explain you’ve made a misdemeanor, what are the charges against you and your chances to solve this or accept the punishment… On the IMC way instead of this you’ll get a “you’ve violated the law” and put you in jail with no trials, no lawyer, no judge, nothing. That’s the TOS way
When will all this players getting a proper answer? The all deserve to know the reasons why they are banned, or at least have the chance to talk about the issues, discuss them, let them know what they did wrong, review again the log or another information to evaluate again if the player can be innocent in a real feedback instance This even could be done by support tickets on forum, but by now the ticket system is only giving standard pre-designated copy/pasted answers… and if they send more than tree they get one saying that they will no get another answer because the decision has been made.

Do you care about your players?

Me as a player from day 1… Will I have to wait until one day a staff member banned me from game and tell me “you violated the terms of service/EULA” without the right to ask why?
really???’

We need a public response on the forum.
Please do it.

They don’t have to tell you why they banned you, it says that in the term of service. If you want to be technical, they can ban you just because they don’t like you and they don’t need to explain why.

hi, read and understand:
“IMC Games reserves the right to close, temporarily or permanently, any user’s account without advance notice as we deem necessary. Furthermore, we reserve the right to delete all user accounts or inventory of characters as warranted.” Without advance notice is not the same as asking for an explanation. We are not asking for unban only, we are asking for the reasons why behind this decision, because we think that THERE IS NO REASON.

Just being fair and transparent

And not asking for a reason is not part of the “contract” a.k.a. Terms of Service/EUKA

EULA*

They don’t have to explain to you anything. They reserve the right to remain silent. The reason most gaming companies don’t tell you why you are banned is because it can help reveal the protocols or algorithm they use to detect or find such hacks or exploits.

You even typed it yourself. “IMC Games reserves the right to close, temporarily or permanently, any user’s account without advance notice as we deem necessary."

Key words " as we deem necessary"

Basically " However the fk we want"

Don’t listen to the troll here, IMC has to justify what they did, show proof and ignore trolls sad about their lives.

How can I be trolling? He posted what was said in the terms of service and I quoted what he’s misunderstanding.

he only dont understand this: “reserves the right to close” <- nothing more.

Yeah they have the right to do whatever they want with their game. Is English your native language?

Rightly quoted, but understood like an amoeba. They can ban you without notice, it doesn’t say they don’t have to justify why. Go back to primary school pls, and keep out of this thread since you’re off-topic and too dumb.

No, they actually don’t have to justify it. They don’t have to give a reason after the fact either. In fact, most people actually got an answer in response to their question. Whether or not you liked the answer is another matter entirely.

All they have to say is you were banned for violating terms of service. That’s all that have to say. They don’t have to get into any details.

I will actually get to know the staff opinion instead of just an (bad) interpretation of the text.

Like it or not, nowhere in the Terms of Service it is said that IMC will provide you a detailed explanation about your ban.
The ToS only says that they can ban you whenever they want for whatever reason they want. That’s it.

It’s funny how you went to personal attacks after I proved you wrong. Only something immature filth like you could come up with.

I love posts like these. You don’t want the staff’s opinion, because if you did, you’d have PM’d them or just relied on the answer you got from the ticket. But you don’t like that answer, and you really don’t like the answer you’re getting here. So now you’re going to wait for the staff to answer you directly in public.

They do have the right to ban you for any reason and without warning.

Whoa, weird, where does it say they have to justify why? I guess the only thing you learn after primary school is how to make ■■■■ up.

You and Diamond can go play the game instead of defending something completely arguable. Just because you came out of this one clean, doesn’t mean you you can upgrade yourselves to attorneys of IMC.
I know they are innocent and many more. So, go troll somewhere else.

I’m not one of the wrongly banned players
I like public answers, they are usually transparent. they are not usually bots replies…
It is super easy to put a user’s nick here

and see what kind of user the comment comes from… the same haters in all posts related to silute, with negative or useless comments. in my opinion it is better to be useful.

He doesn’t even play this game.

The more you guys argue about all this, the less I believe any wrongful bans occurred. You’re making this 20 times worse for the people who are.

You especially. Spamming at staff for literally nothing. You’re contributing to the problem and making it take longer for them to sort through the sea of nonsense. If you weren’t even effected then why add noise?

men put your nick there and read your soul <3

Well, you know where you can put your beliefs. If you are against transparency, then make your own troll topic and stop wasting our time.
Haters gonna hate.
