Auto Attack Chronomancer?

The thing about that is, since you’re a wizard, your main attack(Z) will always be that lame magic missile that can only hit one target.
I talked about the dagger because it can actually hit multiple enemies, like any regular physical auto attack, and it’d also apply toy hammer AFAIK.

so should i go str instead of int then???

I think neither. You see, your whole build resolves around having high element attack to deal damage because each auto attack have lots of lines of elemental damage.
So, if you buy a sacrament buff from the Pardoner shop(~30Min duration), you’ll end up with 4 lines of damage; 1 from normal attack, 1 from cafrisun, 1 from sacrament and 1 from enchant fire. Which means for every 1 point of elemental damage you get from equips, you’ll deal 4 of it.
So, a single arde dagger gets you 600 dmg an so on and so forth, while you’d only get 200 dmg from having 200 str. I’d personally go Full CON and count on equips with Elemental Attack for damage.

If you are expecting to be main dps with your build, you can forget about it.

You are a great source of buffs and CC thou. Fair warning, it wont be much fun for solo leveling and questing.

than what do i dooo then

I agree.
@etirrn If you like chrono, I would suggest you go for a support build, chronos are amazing for that.

but then i cant even do quests without the help of someone else

No, its NOT that you cant do quest without someone else lol.

Its just much harder and annoying. You will be relying on linker for you aoes.

And spam auto-attacks pretty much. Question is, why did u pick chrono C3?

Do you like auto attacks that much? (In that case are u open to other class options?)

because more quicken and haste and pass and i will probably go pyro > linker c2 > chronoc3 if i need linker and chronos outfit is adorable

Sure you could. The difference between your suggested builds for this auto-attack thing and a support chronomancer is more or less dropping Pyro for Cryo.
Sure, your damage will be kinda sucky, but you’d have gallons of hp to burn while you slowly smack stuff.

You can do quests solo but levelling will be more painful than normal. Apart from going full PvP, I can’t honestly see how a hybrid chronos can be good. Of course, it might and WILL work, but it won’t be optimal.
Edit: Parties will prefer having a full support chrono (which are insanely good imo).
The problem with hybrid classes is that they are less effective when playing in parties, it’s usually better to have specialists.

whats a full support chrono build

So you wish to have really good support buffs right?

And i agree on the outfit xD

But yea, your buffs are really handy and useful in party play. I mean haste, zooooom~~

would i be able to do that damage without thaumaturge skills?

Here’s two options for support chrono:
Wiz1>Cryo1>Linker2>Chrono3
Wiz1>Cryo3>Chrono3
I personally prefer having a linker.
Edit: You can think that pyro is better than cryo because of the synergy between linker and pyro but dont forget you’re a support and cryo provides more CC.

don’t worry, I will go linker c3 and thauma 3, just go full dmg
if we meet in-game, you just hit a gold mine.

What you’re doing is considered a full support chrono build.

Oh that is what I am REALLY hoping!! \o/

I’m sorry but… could you explain that efficience difference between Thauma buffs for wand/staff auto attack mage and Chrono buffs for dagger auto attack mage? Because as I’m planning a future auto attack mage hoping that Sage is gonna be an on-hit-autocaster - (Yes, I used to play a Sage in RO, so let me dream =D).

At c3, Thaumaturge gets a skill that increases your Int, meaning it’s more useful for wand/staff users as it further bolsters your magical attack damage. It also lets you hybridize some pyromancer skills into the build for additional damage.

With melee, it would be more beneficial to go for Chrono c3 to further increase your attack speed. You could also get Pass for greater buff uptime.

so then should i choose

Pyro > Linker > Thauma > ChronoC3

or

Pyro > Linker C2 > ChronoC3

will the thaum even be beneficial to me since i’m using toy hammer and arde dagger and cafrisun and enchant fire and sacrament and element damage?
