Level them one by one. With the assists (compared to the previous pokemons) you won’t get the exp penalty from putting cards in slots 2-4, but you will still gain exp 4 times slower if you try to level them all at the same time. Having one card high level is better than having 4 cards lower level.

Oooh, OK. been doing it wrong then. They seem to level super slow. My level 270+ cards won’t even gain 1 level in 1 CM run on a lvl 400+ area. But I do have 4 cards equipped.
Yes leveling cards takes time. Never forget to use those Assist Exp Tomes, they add +100% to the amount of exp you gain for your assists. My Tantalizer is currently 380 and even alone with exp tome it takes multiple CM7s to gain one level.
