My build is Archer - Ranger 3 - Archer - Falconer - Cannoneer. With a stat ratio of 2:1 str dex with about 30-50 con when I reach lvl 280. Which armor type should I use? And why?
cloth has low def but has some mdef and some nice SP boost I think cloth piece that give SP are good at early stage then switch to either leather or plate later.
At early stage your low level attribute won’t affect much you can mix what ever you like(you need your silver for your weapon and maybe attribute of some offensive skill first before those armor attribute)
I think choose the Item first then choose attribute later.

Do you never wear leather? I am also wondering what to wear with m,y archer.
I’m wearing leather all throughout because I’m thinking of evasion. I got the leather mastery at lvl 25. I want to try plate but I don’t know how it will affect my evasion considering that my plate mastery is only at lvl 1.
Max plate atribute gives you def and an extra 1700 or 1800 hp, and some stamina too…
Max level of attribute is 50 right? What about leather? What does leather give you at max level?
75 Evasion, assuming all four pieces.
From what I’ve heard, after around level 200 Evasion is worthless, and no amount of points in it will help you.
So all archers should wear plate?
Might be old discussion. Not true that after 200 evasion is worthless. I wear leather most of the time and I can tell that I evade most of the mobs shots esp the archers (which actually hits very hard). I even evade most of the boss in Saalus mission. Of course, except for magic attack.
Actually its good to invest to both Plate and leather. Sometimes I use plate for mobs I know my evasion wont work.
For fletcher, cloth is also good.
