This is just one example where my hairstyle is blocking the visibility of my Feather Armband, but there are also many other cases where the armband is barely visible.
Here’s an image of an odd angle which shows off the armband nicely.
b-but… hair in real life… also blocks the visibility of things!! This is the only hairstyle I like so I hope they don’t mess with it.
I tested armbands on myself and didn’t have these problems – I think it may have more to do with the feathered armband in particular & with type of costume a character has on.
The only time my hair covers my armband is when my body is diagonal but my head is facing all the way to the left – but I think that’s logical.

Yeah, it’s mostly a problem with the Feather Armband. Other armbands like the ones you posted are much more visible, but only from the front. The hairstyle looks nice and should stay as it is.
I just did some testing with different class costumes. It has nothing to do with the class costume, but what it made me realize is that different classes actually have different stances. Here’s an image of a Swordsman’s stance compared to a Wizard’s stance.
Notice how the Swordsman’s arms are a bit more forward compared to the Wizard’s, which makes this specific hairstyle block out the whole arm on a Wizard.

Well I didn’t take pics but the costumes do have some effect, the armbands look better on my doppel than my highlander for instance, the puffy sleeves kind of make them stick out even more.
