The kind of bug I’m talking about are localisation, quest, xp/stats, items, AH and such. The kind of bugs that aren’t tolerate for a release.
An Open Beta is by definition open to everyone. The main goal of an OBT is to stress test the servers before release, to do so, you need as much people as possible (it also helps to advertise your game). This is true even for B2P subs games.
Now if a company is using the word Open Beta for Early Access, it’s another story =)
Also League of Legends is a free to play game, a successful one, profitable one… You don’t pay to play, nor get scammed to pay 50USD or you don’t log in…
Even their PBE (EA forever) account is free, limited, but free
Any open beta is free, seriously not trying to argui with fanboy kiddo, i love the game but how then did the approach is a shame…
TL:DR Open beta isn’t the same as releasing a full game for 50 bucks with bad bugs ironed out, it’s more of a early acess at this point, a pricy one.
LoL isn’t a MMO, it’s MOBA. The main difference is players are either in lobby or in match, not hundreds in the same town. The point is charges for the company aren’t the same, so the business model isn’t the same as well.

Just because they want profit doesn’t mean they shud **** their costumers who can’t shell out 50 dollars for a 3 months headstart, like seriously, will you even be playing this game after 3 months with other people who paid? My guess is not.

The servers are the same than in CBT (no EU server, no US West
server, only US East), and they ask us to pay for a game that they
anounced to be a “Free To Play”.
And they don’t ask 5$, 10$ or 20$, nonono… They Ask 50$! for the same Shitty servers than in CBT!

The way I see it, I’m purchasing TP I was going to buy anyway, the hats and playing before anyone else are just a bonus.
How can you tell the difference between greed and necessity? You have no access to their company roster and employee pay. I No idea how much money is required to efficiently run the game (if anyone does feel free to chime in) so how can you claim it’s all greed. I think it was fair for basically a one time transaction that would last you well into full release and over the course of the game you NEVER have to pay again.
$50 for x Amount of hours/days/weeks/etc of entertainment. Is a good price, the only problem was they shouldn’t have scaled down the founder packs by months to full release but instead just have different pricing options from 20-50 that all gave early access until june19th.
Also if your argument is that it’s a buggy game…the gaming market of today has shifted and you won’t get a perfect game nowadays being released. There will be bugs, they will be fixed in time, the more money the company has the more resources they can put towards issues.

Depends, i can send to you the name of the server that i will be playing and when you can afford or when goes free we can play together.
Please i understand, but the point is that i don’t wanna pay just do play first i want to support them as everybody, and in my country that will cost me 180 BRL but i waiting to see if will be calculate with steam currency then will be a little cheaper.
And early access happens in all the games, especially on steam.

@noilid I agree with your point. My concern as a customer is atm we have no confirmation from IMC regarding the TP prices nor the prices of item in CS. Afawk, 600TP could be sold $6 or $60 (obviously not, but I guess you get my point). For example (bad one), BDO sold $100 pre-packages with an amount of cashshop money under the price of 1 full “cosmetic” set.

Why should a company build up a free game were they spended a lot of money just to satisfy some stupid kids who cant afford anything or just want things for free. Pls IMC. Just open the founder system and ignore those stupids. We dont need them in the game we are still enough people to hold this

Even old games are bugged, but we didnt have the internet and waht not back then, hence why they were never patched, that’s not the point, like we said, you’re paying for a Beta product, not a finished one. And while your company argument may stand, that doesnt mean they shud make bad business decisions like telling us about a open beta, then restricting it massively by not days or weeks but months.
That’s a fair concern.
