Tree of Savior Forum

Are you people even care for IMC and the game?

From the moment they did the founder packs people started a massive hate in any place they can, this forums/redit/steam.
I cant realy get why.
People was so happy we will have no publisher like nexon. Did all of this people didnt even understand what a publisher do for a game?
It looks like people dont care if the game fail or not all they want is free free free and more free.
They can make the game b2p like bd if they want and all of you free people will get nothing. They can push development some more and go EQnext.
If so much of you dont think the game is not good for your 50$ why are you here?
Hope you will fined the f2p game for you and let the people that want this game 2 play it and have fun and suport the developer.

Simply, because it was going to be the open beta, not paid closed beta…

Actually is those supporting this money grab that doesn’t care about the game, ruining the fun for 80% of the playerbase just because you think you are better than anyone else cause you have 50 bucks isn’t helping the game , community nor the longevity of the project…

Stop posting this bullsht, if IMC want us to pay they shouldn’t advertising the game as F2P and could have made it B2P…

founding a game is about trust between the founder and the creator.

Then why are you here?
The game is failed for you. Why cry over it?

They did announce that there will be an open beta coming soon a couple weeks ago. After seeing you have to play in order to play or wait 3 months infuriated many people in the community. If IMC had put more planning and announced this ahead of time by a couple months and cut down the wait time, the reaction wouldn’t have been as severe.

A game cant be realy f2p. In all the games there people paying so you as a free player can play as well. You like the game pay.you dont like the game / think 50$ is way to much leave.

GE was the most aethetically beautiful game in 2007.

So people are hating that they will not be in a pay beta to test bugs? That it?
Or you think there really a f2p game? If so name one mmo that dont need $

If IMC planned the founder pack some time ago, they should have tell us a bit sooner, or at the very least ask for feedback about it (the kind of things I expect from devs without publisher).

There is all sort of complaints since yesterday, some are objective, others aren’t, but announcing an OBT soon with more than 2 weeks silence to finally announce an exclusive access with sales starting the day after is a bad way to advertise your product.

You can understand that most people were disappointed.
I am not talking about the price, the exclusive period, the TP, nor the “accessary”, simply the way we had been informed.

Good point sadly most of the people are just hate they need to wait pr pay.
But really show me one f2p mmo that didnt do founder somthing.

People have been highly anticipating for the game to release so naturally when something doesn’t meet their expectations, many will respond negatively, regardless of reason.

I could say the same thing for everyone throwing cash at them, they lied to our faces over and over again.

If someone came to your face in real life and promised you good things that made you happy/excited for years but kept on giving you the opposite you’re going to be grateful and pay money for the opposite of what they promised?

This isn’t even the issue, the issue is we cant trust them anymore… the game is still bug ridden, bad optimization and a lot of unpolished features. They might hurt the fans more and not make the game good since they can get people to spend $100’s by taking away features everyone should have and putting a price tag on it. The people who whiteknight them are the ones who don’t even care about IToS.

I have seen this so many times, it seems like people just want ToS to be another MMORPG they pay for, have fun for a few weeks-months on and never touch again.

If they were not wrong they would not be talking about the ‘‘Business’’ again.

B2p is what they should really do no joke. But really i still would pay the 49.99 for the game to play this month. I was a cbt tester and love the game. I’m welling to pay for it before its flooded with all the ftp people and bots.

I dont understand what you want to say

They basically tricked the community by saying the game would be F2P. Now they release it for a handful of people.
The only similar situation I can think of is those developers that sell a game but already have DLC made, and would rather release it as DLC than in the game itself. They could easily open it to open testing like they announced it, but instead they want to grab some money out of desperate fans because the game did poorly in Korea and chances are the same would happen here.

When even the publisher isn’t confident in their product, I can’t be either.

I actually have the money for the 3 months, but I’m not going to pay 50$ for an incomplete free to play game, specially considering that with this business model they just scared away a big portion of the people who were going to try it out after the disaster that CBT was.
