Since they lack AoE. Whereas other builds like Fletchers and Elementalists can spam them while chugging SP pots.
After watching some youtube vids I love the machine-gun archer playstyle, but I worry if it’ll be less effective in dungeons.
Auto-attack Archer + Linker Mage:
The overall damage might be lowered but TBH if you’re in a late game situation where DPS is an issue it shouldn’t be hard to mold your team comp to include a linker. So I wouldn’t worry too much about that.
However even if you take out the Linker it’s good to take note that even AA Archers have AoE attacks. Your auto attacks are mainly used while skills are on CD to supplement for down time between skill rotations.
Certain archer classes like falconer will also supplement the dmg w/ circling which increases AoE dmg ratios.
If you’re dedicated to playing an AA Archer just take the initiative to form your dungeon groups and ensure you party up w/ a linker as priority. That way you dont have to worry about the issue all together. In the grand scheme of things though I highly doubt anybody will even notice a difference. Just make sure to keep your weps at a high level and you’ll be fine.
Whats your ping…The reason i didnt go AA archer was because of my 150 ping if you cant get your ping lower than 100 i wouldnt do it

hey man u replied on a thread of mine last time, should give it a shot again at AA build. im like 180ping but my AA’s dont drop at all like most people seem to complain about. quite enjoying the build so far maybe ping isnt too bad from cali
If your ping is 180 it might be bearable. But ping dependent game play is hard to differentiate until you see like actual footage and compare your game play to something that they consider “optimal”. You don’t know that you are shooting slow until someone shoots faster.
