Archer2 Hunter3 Falcon1 Musket2 - viable as off-DPS support archer in ET? (with TBL/GvG on the side)

I’m thinking of resetting my A2 QS3 Falcon2 (supposed to be Falcon3) to this build since our small guild is looking to try our 1st ET run ever at the start of 2017 (if ever reset comes before then).

  • Growling for CC. Not sure if other skills would be useful in ET runs, but they definitely will have use in PVP. Snatching is nice against flying bosses too.
  • Circling for better party AOE dps. Hovering has its use in PVP. Pheasant will soon be a stun CC.
  • Musket for my DPS.
  • Build can focus on improving one weapon only (rifle).

Thoughts and suggestions are appreciated. TIA!

Just stick to QS falcon3, Falcon3 are actually a replacement for Linkers.

Then again it depends on your whole composition of ET.

Hunter sucks in ET due to buggy AI. issue . your pet will lure aggro causing you to screw up at times.

If you really want AOE DPS just take SR3. If you are a support DPS.

It’s better off running A2 (sapper) falcon musket2 or a2 Ranger wugu2 falcon/scout musket2

The true support from falconer is not in circle 1, Circling might be good for certain things but where it truly shines is at circle 3 with the combination of Aiming (bigger hitbox, as larger hitbox, physical and magical attacks that are ground based benefit greatly) and circling with the expand attribute that allows for better DPS (from physical attacks only).

Also, hunter’s growling without Aiming is bad, like real bad, like have to lure every enemy right next to the pet kind of bad. However, aiming fixes this.

Here, a video of growling + aiming.

Without aiming, making growling work is a real pain.

@unicorntheshiny @Composition thank you for your inputs guys. Guess I’ll stick with my original falconer3 route then and just reset another toon.
