This could work since from what I read, Hunter damage comes from pet stats. Altho you might want other str/dex for other class.
You would need tens of millions of silver to keep your petās stats relevant.
you also need 37 million silver to level Rush Dog attribute to 100.
Iād say Archer2Hunter1Scout1Rogue3.
Archer2Hunter1Scout3Musketeer(or Cannoneer)
or Archer2Hunter1Sapper3Cannoneer.
Check this guy videoā¦not bad for solo player.
so if i want to go hunter i want str, not dex?
Rush Dog scales with pet stats, but the other damage commands scale with str/dex and can crit. Itād be wise to balance STR/DEX or have a good amount of bothā¦and a some con, since Hunter is all about CC you can get away with being more tanky.
Thanks for this. So hard to find information on hunter skillā¦
Thereās still quite a debate about stats allocationā¦Even if some say, for sure, itās not Pure X. Like pure STR or DEX, full STR is strong at begin, but in theory tends to fall off later on in levels, full DEX is bad too because after lv 200 you really need to have A LOT of DEX invested to compensate the crit rate formulaā¦and with low base dmg, even if itās a bit higher, you do not still hit that much hard. Beside with both of them you would be way too squishy. With the first option you have no health, with the second one you dodge like no tomorrow, but at soon as they launch you a spell, youāre dead.
As Judex said probably itās best mix them, and put some CON in the mix as wellā¦some people were talking about 3:1:1 STR:CON:DEX, but Iām still not sure about it. Need more experience, datas and so on to confirm it. The setup itself is probably fine, but need to see first if itās better to have more STR or more DEX.
Going back to the topic, after some research, I do not suggest to pick Hunter3 anymore.
Then only stuff you really gain is Growling and Rush Dog Lv 15. While Rush Dog can be good, from 10 to 15 you only gain 500 dmgā¦while from 5 to 10 you gain 800. And going on you will just invest in the pet damage to increase it further. Growling was OP in PvP, but now itās just ā ā ā ā since it only deactivate the monster AI, thus being useless in PvP. In PvE is not needed imoā¦since it can mess up the mobbing and so on. As well as losing DPS since pet doesnāt atk.
You donāt even need coursing lv 15, since you can perma lock with a much lower skill lvl too, which you can invest in other skills too.
So, my suggest is to take something elseā¦the only option i found myself liking was Scoutā¦itās the only āone rank wonder classā that can be useful in both PvP and PvE at that rank level.
So either you could go A2->H1->any other two rank of classes based on what you like->Falconer->X (wouldnāt choose quarrel shooter imo, itās good, but i feel like you need at least 3 rank for proper use) or go A2->H2->1 rank of something useful even alone, like scout->Falconer->X
For X I mean a class between cannoneer or musketeer based on your personal preferences, theyāre both hella strong. And seems to work well with Falconer nowā¦I would skip Falconer 2 since you do not gain much beside a good single target skill, but at that point snipe or cannon shoot are much better at that, and lv5 circling is more than enough. Could become more useful if they add Falconer 3, but we still have to see.
Youāll want to rip your hair out relying on the pet lol.
Well, I have to say itās not that hard. You have to learn how the skills work first, so that you donāt blame the AI too much when you (sometimes) do not use them correctly xD And second you have to invest a lot into the petā¦otherwise he will die way too soon
At begin it definitedly was a pain in the ass, but now that itās picking up with levels itās quite goodā¦dungeons help a lot with that XD
That said ofc relying too much on the pet is wrong, itās an assistance, but not your main focus xD
Coursing level 15 is definitely needed.
Why ? You need much less to be able to stunlock someone. And in PvE is kinda meh, itās pretty good on single target, but since you canāt use it on bosses it really falls off.
The thing about coursing is, your pet canāt do anything until the coursing period done even when the mob is dead.
7 second at level 1 is enough for lower level and prolly some more at higher level but to max it kinda like a punishment instead. Or do you have some trick to bypass this? Pretty please tell us
I can use Rush Dog during Coursing, but continue.
Hey guys, I am leveling an archer now and I was thinking if this build would work: Archer > Ranger 3 > Hunter C2 > Musketeer (maybe get Hunter 1 + Falconer on Rank 6). Scout 1 should be good too but hunters is so much cooler.
With this build I think I will have a good AoE, Single target damage and CC, and should work on PvE and PvP.
Any tips are welcome since I am new player but I hope this build works because I really liked the idea of two pets + high damage + CC hahaā
You are going to struggle in terms of damage until you reach musketeer following that build.
As it is viable or not, I donāt really know because Hunter is like a single target-focused class and you are picking Ranger 3.
@Topic
About the Coursing thing it must be an actual bug that needs to be corrected. Coursing decreases the targetās defense by a flat amount, Iām not sure if the amount it provides at lv10+ is worth it.
Thank you for the link, I noticed that in one of her builds she has Snatching at lv15, do you know why?
Iām a Hunter C3 atm and I donāt see any reason to max it.
Reroll.
Srsly, I make a hunter c1 and wtf is that AI of pet? Is the most buged and stupid AI Iāve see in all mmo. Nothing work properly. If you want cc, go to QS. Be happy.
It is only a matter of time until the AI gets enhanced. Yes, the AI is unreliable as it is right now.
I think I know why the AI behaves in such weird way and Iāll test it out when I get home
Iāll focus on scout c3. Dunno why, but Split Arrow is amazing to end content.
Archer c2 > Hunter c1 > Scout c3 > Dunno yet (maybe hunter c2 or mursktr)
i chose A1 > R1 > H1 > S3 > H2
call me crazy
