Archer tree new card discussion

With the incoming new card effect, i think we must join force and discuss which card is useful to any archer job
Here’s what i think are useful:

Grinender/mothstem : [★]% damage Increase when attacking flying monster (mergen/2h bow user, for long term it give more average DPS than glassmole BUT ONLY AGAINST FLYING,)
Sparnas: Physical Atk + [★ *7] when wearing missile type weapons (all archer, max +210patk)
Deadborn: critical attack +[★ *20] (max +600 crit attack is not a small increase)
Reaverpede: Increases [★/2]% damage against medium size target (permanent max +15% dmg to medium size)
Moa: Increases [★]% damage against demon type monsters (all superior field boss are demon type, max +30%dmg, more useful than tomblord)
Tomblord: Increases [★/2]% damage against Boss type target (max +15% dmg)
Glassmole: Physical Attack +[★]% for 6 seconds when using any type of SP potion
Prison cutter: +[★]% additional damage to enemies inflicted with bleeding status (fletcher)
Velnia monkey: +[★] % additional damage to enemies inflicted with poison status (wugushi)

Feel free to recommend some card too

In my Sapper - Falconer I will still use Glass Moles in red, the cooldown of the skills are high so it works well, Green will be Netherbovine for STR, blue I don’t care and Purple will be Gazing Golem.

In SR and QS may be interesting to put the bleeding/poison card that inflict the status and the one that increase damage if the chance works in all lines of damage.

And on my opinion the best card for World Boss will be Moa, the 30% damage all the time against demon is huge and because the superior WB are all Demon Lords it fits like a glove.

just got poata card (purple), using 3 card will have max +900 hp recovery, is it good?

If I would use it, it would be in a farming char that need to be in a field for a long period of time so I would not need to go back to town just to buy potions.

Im gonna grab the poison dmg and poison debuff chance cards. Since I have a rank of wugu, synergy will always be there

do you mean Biteregina Card: When attacking has [★/3]% to apply poison status for 6 second?

I’m interested mostly in the Poison on Hit, and Bleed on Hit for my high attack speed characters but it’s all going to depend on how it stacks (extend duration, refresh duration, what the Bleed/Poison damage scales with, etc)

I’d seperate these out into 3 tiers, since they’re basically already done for us.
#Highest gain, consistent

  • Prison Cutter - Consistent as long as you can consistently apply bleed 100% of the time (Broadhead 10)
  • Velnia - Do you need Wugu2 for 100% uptime? Might drop this down a rank, but you can use Poison/hit to help here.
  • Glassmole - As long as you have burst this is still a great thing, but if you’re a sustained DPS, this is going to be weaker than the above choices.

#Highest gain, limited

  • Moa - Damage against more than just all superior field types, consistent in that it will work for all of them
  • Grinender/mothstem - seems like it will be pretty good especially if it’s in a different multiplier category than the attribute (So it would end up totalling to +45% damage). The only issue with it is that you’ll miss out on the ground mobs so it’s categorically worse than Moa even if you can’t use PC/Velnia

#Limited gains

  • Reaverpede - Not sure if it will work in PvP so it may be useful there, but this will give you less than Moa against most mobs for farming, so I wouldn’t bother with it under most circumstances.
  • Tomblord - This is more of a consolation card, only useful if for some reason you can’t consistently proc any of the above. Grinender is still better unless you are mass hunting ground mobs and/or not using 2H bow.
  • Deadborn - Stronger than Sparnas card at higher crit rates, but I’m talking 70%+ crit chance, so you will want to be rogue to benefit from this, at all over Sparnas
  • Sparnas - Good PAtk but most likely not as good as the +% damage you will get from the top tier cards if you’re bossing/have good gear

I’m planning on using Bleed on hit and Bleed damage cards myself, but I’m waiting to see how well Bleed on hit cards actually scale.

moa only works for demon, against non demon it does nothing

Yes, but for bosses that’s all of them, and outside of bosses it’s a good chunk of them, so I put it under consistent in terms of bossing, but I’ll move it under limited as it’s not consistent outside of that (nor as futureproof as build-based ones)
