Archer tree needs change

The Archer class tree is very unbalanced, only quarrel shooter works well and has a good damage, other classes compared to the quarrel become useless at the end of the game. I hope that the IMC is already planning changes. Quarrel Shooter is like the barbarian was in closed beta. Classes like Scout need to be readjusted because it has a high cooldown and little damage or funcionality. Only cloaking is good and yet it has coodown 38 seconds. Stop nerf basic classes as flectcher and focus on what is really necessary, a class that opened in rank 2, hit more than a rank 3, is absurd.

I playe myself a Fletcher at 200+ and rock in everything - Im good at WB, Instances and Solo farming. Nerf? i dont take notice on that.

QS is just good fot Single Target, in Earth Tower the Class is not so well belanced. There are other Archer Classes who are way better, for Party’s.

Every archer class are pretty decent in their respective roles

  • Fletcher destroy everything on his path
  • Sapper is an additional AoE if you go C2 and don’t want Ranger
  • Ranger mows down everything os his path up to lvl 200
  • Wugushi Does a decent damage single target
  • Scout have its usefullness besides cloak, but the latter is suitable for pvp
  • Quarrel Shooter is the go for build if you like auto-attacks, does nice damage

You clearly don’t know what you’re talking about, sure, archer will obviously suck if you use a lv 75 bow being level 200+ and using a random build full of C1s with no atributes bought.

Every build sinergies with your own playstyle, you have to understand them and go the path more suitable for your playstyle, My fletcher is now 250 and I got nothing to complain, I invested a lot of silver on him and he does just fine, not OP and not lackluster… same thing to any other class, if you understand each class and actually know what you’re doing, you’ll do just fine with any archer class

Just reroll and build a decent character, stop whining.

Hey excuse me please, but I’m at level 100 right now and have 100 points in dex and the rest in con, should I put str or continue with full dex? (I’m going for fletcher c3)

The only thing need to be improved in archer path is the hunter’s skills.

Hunter needs improvement in Pet AI and skills. SR needs to live up to it’s name and could use an overall buff in some skill damage as well. Other than that, archer is good enough.

Fletcher has raw dmg, so you can keep going in DEX, but I personally put in some STR like at least half your DEX, just to make the crits hurt much more.

I’m hunter c2 > fletcher c2.
No doubt it does decent damage and I’m able solo till lv182, but there are several problem in this classes.

  1. Fletcher skill casting delay, I’m sure you guys know it when casting crossfire arrow, barbed arrow. Your character will unable to move like .5~1 sec. Obviously this is cause by bad server config, bad ping are killing this class. The server have good ping at first when migrate to SG, it have 20ms, YES, 0.020. The Fletcher skill are like machine gun, unlike now…

  2. Hunter skill are useless, why? The pet AI sucks, not to mention always stuck and bugged, it also cast skill on traps. Companion get 1hit KO by most bosses skill. Companion have own stamina.
    Basically after went to Fletcher circle you can ignore all Hunter skill except snatching, but… thbow deals 100% more damage on flying unit, why snatching then?

Finally I get fed up and reroll into scout c3, because split arrow are like oblique shot, it has 0cd and cast instantly, unlike most fletcher skill…

Haha… just jump after you see the fletcher animation cast, else shoot again from safety. That animation delay seems to be a fair mechanic since fletcher skills are 0-5 CD and hits real, real hard everywhere.
