ARCHER-RGR-SR3 End Game Pistol

I know this question may or may not have been answered before but what are your opinions on SR3 current end game weapon considering we are still unsure as to what R9 will have, we may even see 3 pract weapons etc, god save us all lol…

Should i invest in Aspana now or just opt for a highly refined manamana +15++ or go for the 1 pract Double stack…and try to save from opting the 2 pract aspana. Anyone here have any experience from comparing these pistols. id love to hear what you decided to go for and the reasons why you made that choice. please include + anvil enhancements and transcended stages. thanks in advance

I’m practically in the same boat as you but i am thinking of just investing on aspana as i got 3 practoniums lying around in my backpack. Rank 9 might still take months or even a year and even then i think imc will come up with something more ridiculous as materials for rank 9 weapons.

Its just a matter of when do you want to enjoy the game. Manamana is a good start but you need at least upgrade it to +13 (if youre appraiser) or +16 (if no appraiser) to do decent damage. I have manamana+15 (i am appraiser) right now and I can’t compete with people with 315 weapons at all. You better just go straight for Aspana if you’re planning to get it anyway. I don’t think Double Stack is worth the investment unless you don’t have the resources (time and money) to make an aspana. Lastly, Aspana is really hard to make so I think it is only for hardcore players. Going for Double Stack and waiting for rank 9 weapons is good for non hardcore players too.

make the aspana if your SR is farming char. Else you can use +11 mana, HG pistol or double stack and wait for r9 weapon. However I still suggest the +11 aspana trans 5 LOL from now until r9 you can farm enough money to get more than 3 practo already

id consider myself a hardcore player and just like u i also have 3 pracs in storage  . problem i found was the mats… in my server the kugheri swords are like 1.2 - 1.5 mill a piece. :open_mouth: my only worry is that as soon as i complete the aspana… some 330 or 350 level weapon comes out hahaha during r9. such a painstaking decision we have here lol

yeh the aspana is such a pain to farm for the mats. i considered just buying mats directly but the costs are insane. i need to invest more than 60mill just on the kugheri swords alone

I’m quite comfortable with my ManaMana on SR3 tbh. No doubt Aspana would be the better, more ambitious craft to get.

I think it’s a matter of how much you are willing to “min-max” in terms of dps before R9 comes out?

Personally I’m saving up mats and refraining from Aspana until i see R9 and R9’s class mechanics.

My advice and opinion for you would be to refrain from Aspana and wait for the updates, to see if there are any other options that might suit you better. So that you won’t feel regret and the sensation of being stuck to Aspa after realizing you wanted something else that came with the upcoming update.

But if you have the excess silver and mats to spare? Go for it xD

you can slowly farm the kugheri sword. it took me 2 days to finish my aspana LOL my guildmate also finished his aspana in around 15 days. you can buy few mat if farming is too hard. Rank 9 is still quite far away and you can finish your aspana in 1 month from pure farming.

This is exactly how I feel as well. I use +13 HG pistol with 2x lv6 red gems and I’m quite happy personally…

aspana > double stack > hg blue pistol = manamana

end game #1 aspana, highest best damage, 3 slot, worth transendence

end game #2 double stack, good base damage, only good (worth trans if u won’t use aspana later, not worth trans if u aimming for aspana)

filler #1 315 blue hg, cheap price, cheap upgrade, good damage, worth trans (u can destroy weapon and get shard back)

filler #2 manamana, expensive, not worth trans, only good for leveling and farming aspana mats

right? I kinda personally feel safer, farming for the “acorns” before winter.

plus I’m sure that someday if ToS is still around with even more rank updates, Aspana probably wouldn’t be the best thing around anymore for SR class paths.

@Planeptune basically is right on the spot with what he said. Don’t blindly follow it, but he summarized what people usually ask about pistols…

@lizbethyeon Actually you’re right, and they are right as well. Some people enjoy playing knowing they have the best gears available, whether or not patches will outdate them sooner or later. Indeed, Aspana is the best right now, I can afford one to he honest, I just don’t need it with the content I am currently playing… when rank 9 comes, people would aim those better gears. The “best” gears now will be outdated, get cheaper, and probably that’s when I’ll do upgrade to Aspana eventually. I’m a cheap arse I know. /Teehee

Excuse me since this is a bit unrelated.

What SR build do you think is best to farm?

If you enjoy the grind just go for Aspana now, toss a regard horn xbow on your main hand, and be prepared to do it all again when r9 hits.

Neither are really essential for 99% current content, but at least you’ll look cute until r9 hits.

SR3 Anything, wind runners, manabanana, and extra move speed head gear.

u’ll need aspana if u want to be solmeme dps

luckily, u can farm aspana mats with cheap 315blue or manamana

otherwise, stage 5 double stack can do almost every casual stuff

honestly at this moment its hard to say. ive found using a silver hawk in main hand and manamana in off hand has been more than sufficient for lolo et, 315 mat farming and pve. provided u get the aspersion, sacrament and blessing buffs. its probably the cheapest option right now if ur looking at upgrading to aspana. i would keep the silver hawk + aspana combo later until you think u need more damage if any newer contect comes out. but currently the current content is easily farmable with just a silver hawk / manamana combo… a cheaper option would be isbality / manamana. but the extra stats from the 1prac silver hawk is quite worth it
