Archer mashup - analyse my build and tell me if its not fun to play :D

hi, like in topic, thats the build:

Main stat will be DEX and later maybe some CON.

Why i pick those?

Archer - mostly for PVE and buff + Z farm :smiley:

Hunter - for true damage from Rush Dog auto-casts, snare and pet buff (snare for pvp and rest of build)

Wungushi - first DOT dmg factor + confusion (boss + pvp)

Fletcher - Armor decrase + 2nd DOT dmg factor

Falconer - Ka Kaaa! And heavy aoe dmg factor for cannoner combo.

Cannoneer - Bazuka won my hearth. Much Bazzoka, much damage very wow. Doge aproved :smiley:

I wanted to put Scout for cloak dmg boost + suprise factor, but ye, not enough of place ;p

if you are looking for FUN to play, any builds would be ok.

But if you are looking for the damage dealing position, i would say this build would do almost nothing.

As far as i know, boss is immune to confusion so Wungushi won’t be a good choice.

Hunter Rush Dog, it’s not a auto-cast spell and the true damage is super weak. And most of all, it’s full of glitches. most of the skill just doesn’t work.

Falconer + Cannoneer combo will give the mob decent damage but not enough to knock the mob out.

honestly i can’t give you a specific advice since i don’t know from which part you feel FUN to play. PvP? PvE? High damage? supporter? or just being unique?

if you feel fun when you are playing a unique build, then this build suits you best.

well main job is a controller in pvp, with little bit of buffer. Also, dont tell me they changed Rush Dog since two closed beta’s :smiley:
This skill had like 25% chance to cast at every basic attack. Acutaly this one was best DPS skill when you add it up with Kneeling shoot and swift step.
As your multi at low lvls hit for some 100-200 dmg x 10-15 once per cooldown, you can make pet rush 5 times in same time 2 with normal casts and 3 with auto casts, also dmg incrase with pet stats.
Maybe you didnt experienced rush dog auto casts as pet cant have other stances on it.
About damage, most of builds use 1-2 skills to deal it, and those are mostly maxed. I understand that people like to see over 9000 da-mages. My build gonna work on snowball effect, where you add up many factors into decent damage. Confusion is strictly for fun.

I agree its not TOP dog DPS, its not uber support, its not strictly for pvp or pve. Its something unique that brings uncomon “class” into the table, and thats the biggest con and pro of it. :smiley:

Also from research, elemental dmg incrase mod works for DOT’s, pet doesnt care about my equipment, and also work as amaizing defense tool. Sure its buggy (atleast at CBT), but still will do with understanding of skills. Cannoner can provide enough of DPS to farm at PVE, you just throw falcon AOE + your AOE at right mobs and they melt, if not then you still have big skills too. For pvp maybe some classes can “dodge” dmg, but if you cast 4 AOE skills into group of people, then maybe - just maybe it will be enough to dish out your part of dmg :smiley:

Biggest con for now is survivality.

Still, fun > being PRO elo meta slave.

Why?
Archer>Archer is fine.
Hunter is fine too.
But you should go wugushi 3 if you start it (c3 skills are really good, c2 too.).
Fletcher would be okay for 1 rank, simply cause of the bodkin/barbed/crossfire start. Falconer is useless to you. The aoe Defense decrease combo’s only with multishot, making it an true aoe skill. Not an single hiter. (Falconer builds are helpfull for sappers or anyone who uses aoe ratio skills)

Cannoner is fine.

To make this build work.
Ditch wugushi and either get an rank in archer more or a single rang in ranger.

They changed rush dog a bit. It’s now stronger.
But the skill the companion cast automatically is a bit weaker then the one you use yourself… atleast i heard that.

If you want pvp.
QS, Sapper, Hunter3, Fletcher3, Rouge+scout work well.

Snatchign got buffed (it’s now a dot damage, while you snatch something. Same with retrieve).

I don’t know whether they would roll back that 25% chance attack in iTOS but based on kTOS, that’s been removed. Never seen that auto cast during my Archer C2 - Hunter C3 - Falconer -C2 play. so i believe you can’t expect much of damage from rush dog.
5sec of cooldown, and does 2k to 3k damage normally. sometimes doesn’t work. this is what i feel about rush dog now. (and it seems they’ve removed true damage after patch in feb 25, i’ll have to check on that later)

i have no argue of taking other classes as i read through your replies since it seems you want a unique play, but i would strongly not recommend hunter class at the moment.

this kind of situation is not rare. it’s normal.

Hunter c3 my self just for test all skills rather bad or unusable. I try pvp areana and my dog not even move from spawn point. never see auto rush dog.

I would say hunter is unplayable.

Archer c3, Ranger c3, Quarrel Shooter c3 are strong
Scout c3 also good for their spit shot.

I would recommend any archer to take scout c1 for pvp.
Wugushi poison also great if they are not cleric.
