Archer-C3 QS-C3 (MachineGun Style) High DEX vs High STR?(Single Target DPS for bossing)

Hi People :smiley: after reading up a little, I’d like to hear opinions on this topic DEX vs STR for a high attack speed archer.

High STR --> High Dmg (LowCrit Rate)
High DEX --> High Crit Rate (LowDmg)

but due to archer C2 and C3 Skill called (Kneeling Shot) whereby it increases Physical DMG Based on DEX.

Doing a high STR build in this case would cause you to do lower DMG as compared to a high DEX build (after Acquiring Kneeling Shot). Therefore high DEX build would be better in such a play style?

str grant you better AA dmg when you aren’t kneeling
dex grant you better R7 skill or other high basedmg skills

80% of the time you wont be kneeling though.

Dex only comes out on top when you’re using skills with high base damage, the most efficient way to make your auto-attacks deal more damage is by investing in STR.

Since your main damage output focuses on auto-attacking, i see no reason to invest in DEX instead of STR in Quarrel Shooters

Kneeling Shot sucks btw, you’re way too vulnerable while using it.

That last bit is debtable due to being full dex plus having swift i dodge most if not nealy all major attacks while bossing im fine in kneeling

Agree with this Keeling shot really suck I can’t even use buff while kneeling. I seriously regret going Archer C2.

why just jump out of it buff it go back in. It is increased attack speed meaning increased dmg over time. It all adds up maybe it is just me but I’m used to this kinda playstyle.

In my opinion (and my playstyle) it just ruin running shot unique style and kneeling shot have a lot of problem when my ping swing everything is slow and I can’t even jump to cancel and dodge boss attack. And something I really hate is I still stuck in kneeling shot even after boss kick me away it should auto cancel and let us run after get up. Anyway it just my opinion it maybe very great at late that why most people go for it.
