Archer c2 Quarrel c3 viable next choices

Good day guys!

So as the topic says I am currently a Archer c2 Quarrel c3, not sure what to take next.

I have been reading that falc and musk/cannoneer are not the greatest options since they do not really synergize with Quarrel shooter.

So my question to all of you is what class combinations or single class taken to c2 will be worth my mettle for my last 2 ranks or do you suggest the Falc musk/cannoneer way after all even though they rely more on dex than strenght?

Any input is more than welcome thank you!

not sure, was planning on musketeer cuz and falc aswell…

qs3>?>? seems to be a really nice future proof build

btw i found this, does anyone have the full doc link

I was thinking the exact same thing, although we will be lacking aoe cause of not taking cannoneer. Falc and musketeer have some aoe aswell, just not sure if maybe Archer 3 is viable aswell over falc if going musket…mmm all these choices

seems there are quite a few “Viable” choices out there although not the best.

  • Sapper c2
  • Wugushi c2 ( which also needs strenght )
  • Falc c2 ( not very popular at all now )
  • Rogue c2 ( cannot see the use of this one myself only for the crit buff? )
  • Scout into Musk or Cannon ( for pvp mostly and some use in pve but Falc seems better then maybe even archer c3)
  • Fletcher c2? ( havent seen much about this one but it is interesting to me, everyone says Fletcher c3 is the main reason to go Fletcher though? )
  • Schwarzer Reiter c2 ( Thanks Punkd for the reminder )

So ye all in all tons of choices and very little info on how they do :s
Personally I am really interested in Fletcher c2 would have gone Fletcher c3 if I didnt take archer cause I thought it was staple for Quarrel c3…only to find out Musketeer is not the best choice since it scales of Dex mostly and switching weapons is a pain / lag heaven cause of the delay.

Edit - Also not sure if I really want to take Falconer just for the circling skill. The outfit is nice yes but one whole circle for 1 skill on a 30+ cooldown can anyone tell me that circling is so good making it totally worth it…

There certainly are viable choices but I wouldn’t say they’re optimal at this point since you’ve already gotten archer2.

Sapper2 is great for aoe but I’ve heard Broom Trap falls off in damage late game.

Wugushi2 certainly is viable and I would’ve suggested to go A1QS3Wu2Cannoneer/Musketeer. But then again you’ve already went A2 so that isn’t possible anymore. Wugushi’s damage is great both in single target and aoe although better for solo and small party play as poison overwrites each other if there’s another wugushi. WugonGu synergizes well with the quick autos from running shot spreading the infection.

Falc1 is all you really need for circling. Let’s say you have +5 aoe attack ratio (manamana, vubbe fighter gloves, 2x gladiator band). When you use a skill like multi shot which has an innate 0 aoe attack ratio, multi shot becomes +5 aoe attack. Therefore the old multi shot that hits one monster can now hit up to a sum of 5 aoe def ratio. By size small = 1 aoe defense, medium = 2 aoe defense, large = 3 aoe def etc. That means +5 aoe attack ratio multi shot can any combination of monsters of sum 5. Of course you can hit 2 large monsters to bypass that 5 but the game prioritizes large monsters first in the formula so you can’t hit 4 small + 1 large but rather 1 large + 2 small.

Now why circling is so good is it reduces all the monsters inside the aoe’s defense to 0. So considering how aoe attack ratio and aoe defense ratio works, you can basically hit everything that’s inside circling.

Fletcher3 is because of magic arrow hitting 25 times over time on a single cast. With Fletcher2 you’re only getting 15 hits from a Lv5 magic arrow and a weaker crossfire as compared to going full Fletcher3.

There’s one other viable build you didn’t mention that is Schwarzer Reiter 2 which is something like this.

Ah right sorry about that I forgot to add the Reiter c2 to that list, been contemplating that one aswell.

Btw if I do not have any + aoe attack ratio gear at all, will Multishot and other skills with 0 aoe attack still hit everything in the circling?

Yes I do kinda regret Archer c2 since it pins me into Scout/Falc musk/cannon else it will kinda feel like a wasted circle.

I want to ask something.
Is Archer C2 a must for QS3 build?
Kneeling shot still great at late game? And will we always use it?
I’m at QS3 now and going to change R5

Personally I find very little spaces in which to use Kneeling shot ( although it is really good do not get me wrong ) but when solo’ing with mobs creeping up fast on you it is annoying to use unless you have tons of evade.

In dungeons with a tank or someone holding the aggro it is great just annoying when you get hit by aoe stuff cause you cannot be too far away ( archer c3 maybe? )

The main problem for me seems to be that Kneeling shot is great for when you have alot of dex and it seems Quarrel’s Running shot is better with strenght ( can anyone confirm or elaborate on that ) since it boosts your auto attack hits with raw damage.

So unless you use both Strenght and Dexterity in your build you might find one or the other lackluster compared to people who go deeper into Strenght or Dexterity than you might have.

Yes, even without aoe attack ratio multi shot under circling should still hit everything within it’s splash radius.

It’s hard to say without knowing your full build path and what your goal is (ET, Dungeons, Field Bosses).

Long story short, kneeling shot will always be great for single target and bosses as it maximizes your running shots damage regardless of a STR or a DEX build (which benefits more cause of bonus dmg per DEX) due to the attack speed increase.

Will we always use it?

If DEX build, it’s a must to have to go to kneeling to maximize your damage during running shot or else your running shot becomes poke damage without high physical attack from end game gears.

Compare when the musketeer is in kneeling shot and outside of it. (He shows his stats in another video - 308 DEX)
