hi. quick question here. right now im in QS3 lvl 124. i have arde dagger. but i feel that arde dagger is useless. is it useless? should i change to shield or take on pistols? going for 50 con, 170dex, full str. your thoughts please. thanks
Is not at all useless. Compare your damage with the dagger and without the dagger. Anyway, you have to change it at lvl 170 and use manamana, but it’s work similarly adding a fixed value of elemental attack.
use cafrisun set to see the full potential of arde dagger.
tbh you should have at least a shield just in case. you cant always dodge mobs especially archers. they hurt like hell. and carry some cloth set too for mages.
have you buy sacrement buff use cafrisun or other addition dmg?
If you havn’t, Try them and you’ll see difference between arde and no arde.
but if the shield you mention is ludas shield, this shield might better for survival with a little less dmg.
try your luck on Ledas Shield on 115 dungeon. +103 ice damage, 72 def, with block^1
best for QS.
Questing = arde
Dungeon = shield
If you prefer critical and damage: get Manamana (+1 mspd)
If you prefer defense and damage: hunt Ledas
Equip cafrisun if you are confident with your dodging/sniping skills.
Always have Sacrament, Blessing is optional.
where do you get Mana - Mana? what dg?
i used it from the start of the game.

Are you using Grand Cross? QS really shines the moment you have Running Shot until R6 (before grinding on 80k+ HP mobs), and still decent later on.

yup using Grand Cross till i get didel grand cross. Running shot is OP for bossing. ohh i see thanks for the info dude.
I see, I’m just wondering why you feel Arde Dagger is useless, specially you are high dex. haha oh well. enjoy!
i dont really feel arde quite useless. i have 84 dex. going for 150 dex. my build is full str. its just when im in dg i easily die. haha.
I see, I hear you NO con build here. Usually when I’m in DG im using Ledas Shield for defense (luckily got this) and lvl10 pots, so I seldom dies in DG.
but I cant resist to lure enemies if we got AoE source, specially if the tank is stpd.
well i do invest in Con to. around 50 Con should do it. haha. its hard to get Ledas Shield in dg 115. no luck yet. im planning on taking Ludas Shield for the moment. is that good enough?
if you can create Ludas easily then its ok, but of course Beetleback is better.
Shield choices:
Budget friendly:
Ludas Shield - Con11 = + 945HP
Beetleback - HP + 1.6k
High-end shields:
Sagewall - vs Magic mobs
Aias - vs physical mobs
RNG offensive shields (from DG):
Ledas Shield - +103 ice atk
Otrava Shield - +126 poison atk
of course normal shield will still do, just for getting defense.
i see then. thanks for the info. beetleback is kinda hard to make coz of the varv drop. i might go for ludas for a while. gonna try to get ledas if lucky enough. well, i might ask more haha about build or attributes. im new playing the archer build. thanks anyway.
For attributes - just get all those non-enhance(damage increase %) attributes
For build - 1 points for all, 8 (or more) on Pavise (total of 10 with GC for 100% up time), 5 RS, 12 Caltrops, get Stone Shot for CC and its really up to you

The real question is what kind of content do you want to excel at with your character?
well. i dont really know. but i know that if i take arc3 i will have great aspd. if i take scout im gonna go for pvp. so if you guys can tell me whats gonna happen if i take arc3 or scout i will be thankful.
