Anyone from SEA not transferring to Telsiai? Why?

Hi guys. A few days before the deadline for server transfer. Any SEA players decided to stay in klaipeda/fedimian? Still scratching my head on whether to swap. I get 250ms on klaipeda and potentially 50ms in SEA. But i prefer the community in klaipeda. Anyone else having a hard time coming to a decision?

Not moving.

1.) The community over in Telsiai will become a toxic cesspool in a matter of time.

2.) I’ve learned to live with the 250-ish ms.

3.) Grown somewhat attached to the Klai community.

The random stranger I played with in Klaipeda is usually SEA players who will be transferring to Telsiai anyway (that’s why they were awake when we were playing, due to we are all in the same timezone).

Ya, so not switching server and you may experience a different community from what you experienced now.

If past experience were to repeat itself, let’s just say that most SEA based games usually don’t have erm … the best community around, I don’t want to specifically point out specific groups of people who always ruin communities within the SEA region but we all should know. Besides, this is not a heavily ping reliant game like BnS, maybe for PVP yes but I don’t bother about PVP so I’m still undecided but for now, my decision is leaning towards not moving.

Contemplating.
Most SEA communities are either a hit or miss. Toxic, racist and unruly behavior is to be expected (from past experiences). We can also expect a manipulation of the market to cater the rich more, since yeah It’s a SEA server.

in this game u can’t “Manipulate” the market cus most stuf u buy only once and u can’t trade anymore

You’re probably forgetting that once F2P is out. It’s all gonna be the tokens.

sry i don’t understand what u mean with “It’s all gonna be the tokens”

Hmmm. Still a tough decision. I think i’ll just keep my account in klaipeda and maybe start a new char in SEA to test things out. I’m sure imc will let us transfer as long as we pay some moniess haha

I played on SEA [Telsiai] sv. and I have to say this sv. is not that bad.
between 90 and 115 instance dungeon I’ve met so many people.
We laugh together no matter we die or we receive talt.
I have fun talking to party while we’r gather around bonfire.
We talking about class, item, song,
how dumb the system, goddess boob and etc.

We give like to each other when dungeon finished and some of them maybe become your parter and friends.

sound like a good journey to me

I haven’t actually started playing yet but IDK whether I should join the EU server or the SEA server. SEA ~ 60 ping and EU ~ 170 ping. One question though, is English the primary language used on SEA? Or is it tagalog / indonesian or some national language?

I’d like to choose SEA for the ping but I’d also like to be part of the community, which is difficult when you don’t speak the primary language T_T.

Definitely transferring
I can’t stand my character casting buff but stand there idle for 3~4 sec doing nothing but the animation and the buff wasnt applied anymore.

I’m probably not transferring even though I get godlike 4 ms ping there.

  • Like others said, I generally prefer the NA community
  • SEA community is, to say the least, not the most endearing
  • I can start a new character there easily with the cheap DLC in future
  • Perhaps even a possibility of paid server transfer in future if it really comes down to that
  • Most importantly, I think the PvP scene at NA would be better, but I may be wrong. If I’m wrong I’m definitely restarting on Telsiai

To be fair, the PVP scene for you who’s living in SEA would not be better. just saying. But overall, you are right with most of your points. SEA players do tend to be the snobbish type.

SEA server is always toxic to toxic player. If you can accept other races, SEA server is actually very nice to play in.

Yes, that include the Dota 2 SEA server where people think a certain race is toxic too.

I have no problems tolerating other races but a look at some of the past SEA based MMO’s will tell you enough about the SEA community in general. Anyone who thinks the whole BR vs Americans issue is bad needs to see what can potentially happen in a SEA based game. That’s not to say there are no nice players but when bad things happen, it happens BIG.

Of course, if you have enough friends to play together with, by all means, you should make the move since you guys are pretty much independent.

Do people primarily use English on the SEA server though?

yes

unless you are talking to your own race like for example SG to SG they either use their language or english language

i for one use filipino language when speaking to my own countrymen. or use english until one of us use filipino to know that both of us are from PH.

i use english if im speaking to non PH players or those that haven’t identified themselves as Filipino.

this is the same in DotA 2. i use filipino language when speaking to my friends and english when im speaking to my other team mostly when doing ganking pushing warding and roaming.

Thanks! Ok, I think I’ll start at the SEA server then, don’t really know many people there but shouldn’t be too hard to find new people.

that is applicable to me but i dont know about other people in my or another country.
