Because red increase both phys and magic dmg, also the average is higher than blue… Any poin in it?
Also, does red gem increase anything else like elem dmg or so?

Red Gem is better overall but its random
Blue Gem is not random
So why taking Blue Gem? When you want a specific amount of damage so you get a fixed amount of hit on a monster.
Here an example.
Let’s say a monster have 400 HP.
You hit for 310 lets say. your weapon as 2 slots and you can afford level 5 gems.
2 blue gem would add 114 damage.
2 Red gem would add a random damage between 1 ~ 260 average of 130.
which one is the best to farm the monster that has 400HP?
Blue Gem. Because with blue gem you’ll never need an extra hit to kill it.
I see that was pretty useful, ty.
I have a full con Wiz3 Linker3 Pyro1, with Red gems I get as high as 1.3k Matk (Max M.Atk), thanks to Five Hammer (and five Lv5 Reds)
For damage, my Lv1 Flame Ground (Lv50 Enhance) could go as high as 2-3k per tick, and minimum damage as low as 400 per ttick
Whaaa… is this true?
Wait…WHAT!! RED GEM EFFECT MAGIC DAMAGE TOO!!!
max dmg = all dmg.
You can test it with Crystal Bangle from the Crystal Mine storyline.
yeah it adds to magic atk
Now I have to start to find one I guess…it’s look necessary now …this…Five hammer…
not really, its more of an early game type of thing, unless you want to gamble.
Five Hammer is good til 290 or so. It is relatively cheap and very alt-friendly.
Nahhh red gem also affected by Chapparition too. if it’s red gem on main weapon not sub weapon.
ok when you put blue gem in a rod or staff the magic attack Increases the basic value of the weapon, when you tracent the item the +% it taken from basic value(mattack of weapon+weapon buff+refines+blues gems) and end this mode
magic weapon
GO blue gems
phy weapon go red
I tested it myself, but lemme test it again after maintenance. I’ll do a video of it. Unfortunately i sold most of my chapp cards, so I will be testing it with 1 lv 10 chapp
You can test by lvl1 card. just capture stats screen before-after use potion.
Basicly Windia+7 = 407+99 translvl 5 = +150% aka x2.5
maintain = 144
(407+99+144)2.5 = 1625
gem = 1442
1625+(144*2) = 1913
gem not have effect of trans system.
Then for leveling purposes i suppose red gem does better, because you can auto attack while skills are in cooldown, unless you need that -mp.
Does max attack interacs with elemental damage such as blessing, arde dagger, etc?
Thats true, but with a higher % we will see a much much bigger error. Last time i tested it with 70% chapp cards (7 lv10s)
It has been tested before by fellow druids in the druid thread. Chap cards affect both red and blue gems.
For red gems, it will take the average value of your range.
Alright ill just take your word for it and remove my post
