you also have to consider 2 types of “lagging” …
the first, caused by low FPS (Frames per Second), which depends on your system where you got ToS running, if that’s the case, consider upgrading / changing parts of your PC. Do you got low or high fps? You can check ingame, its always displayed.
the second, caused by bad latency or connection to the server…
you can check your “approximately” connection to the Amazon Web Services here.
The first entrance: US-East, is the one you are looking for, cause the Server is located there.
in this example my PING to the SERVER is at about 118 ms, which causes a delay of 118 MILLISECONDS what will cause a “little” lag… again, those numbers are not 100% correct, cause the fact, the Steam-Services etc. handle the connection via several protocolls and will probably improve it or in other words try to prevent lag.
