Well I just got back from work and am only downloading AK now. I probably won’t get to put much time into AK until the weekends. (And I still have other PC games to play…)
The survival event suck, so might as well give it a try to get your anime mmorpg fix. AK seem to be giving out some winter goodies on steam as well so grab them while it last.
None, actually. You want a better game than ToS, you will want to look at P2P games. All F2P games suffer bad management, oftentimes just treated as cash cow.
I do play a lot of P2P games but those aren’t anime-mmorpg… Most are just AAA pc games.
Hard to find any good anime-mmorpg I agree. But sometimes I just get the itch you know after watching an anime… To play something anime-like.
That’s the problem anyway, I guess all anime-based games won’t be P2P since the demographic they are aimed at tend to either spend big or spend none at all, which is the perfect situation for an F2P game. But the problem is F2P tends to be P2W, the point is that they can’t keep upkeep if nobody buys their stuff, so they have to entice customers to buy stuff that will help players have an easier time OL, hence the pay2win scenario. At the end of the day anyway, all pure F2P players are just dead weight for the improvement of the game. Sad truth, but I’ve been there.
And that is the cause of the whole “bad management” fiasco.

Well i guess u r right… I decided to uninstall aura kingdom after looking at some gameplay videos on youtube (1yr old)… To my surprise, the combat animation looks absolutely horrid. (screenshots on steam looked gorgeous i thought… ) The characters suffer from extended hip syndrome. Their lower body animation completely disjointed from their upper body they look like lego. I guess i am spoilt by AAA games and can no longer go back to such mmorpg with bad animations… Guess ill stick to ToS.
you don’t get it do you? when an issue that exists since cbt isn’t fixed until now, something is really wrong with the game. and what, when they can’t fix it, they’ll suddenly call it feature? HUE.
it’s true that every game will have its own problem. but oh boy, ToS is in another level.
Eh. Not really I’ve played games that have had recurring issues far longer than ToS has. Its on a level thats to be expected from a small time mmo. Don’t exaggerate just because you’re upset about it. It could always be worse.
