Anti AFK/bot using Duels Request

IMC, why not use duel mode as anti AFK/bot mode. if the user is unable to disagree the user is set to combat the challenger.

cannot be challenged in duels

opening players shop

players transacting with player or NPC

also limited duels per hour

Rip people who are taking their time in the bathroom to only find their character butt raped when they come back

Nah it will be hell ;D It’s like playing “Pokemon” lol Klaipedia will become a battlegrounds if the other party cannot decline… But interesting idea ;D

Heh, learning attributes in sequence would be even more annoying.

Or Rip people who are AFK shops as well.

What happened to the older idea of just limiting holding down Z to 5 minutes or making autos cost stamina or something

I got a better change for your idea…

why not lock yes to the same key as attacks key…

since the person will constantly be pressing it, that person will automatically agree to the duel ;p

Then someone does that to you during your grinding sessions.
Bad idea.

and you will be there to say no, take a pick and show all who the ** is or repel the attacker…

:expressionless:

it’s look like PK-system, i think, is not good idea, but report to auto-attackers not bad enough

I’ve actually thought this too but through a different method

Instead of after a set amount of time passes, it will accept after the yes is hit 5 times using Z or Mouse click so that active people who are actively grinding wouldn’t unintentionally accept a duel request

Likewise, the mouse pointer automatically moves to the Yes button of the duel request prompt to make this work out.

With this, only AFK/bot mode farmers would accept the request and become training dummies to kill

They may not die this way but at least you can move them away from the grind spot through the use of skills that have knockback

We do need a afk/bot solution but this is not it.

I suggested this a while ago. I like the idea. If they dont decline/accept after a period of time it auto accepts. Although if its an acual bot and not someone with the button pressed down with something they can program the bot to hit decline.

I wouldn’t mind it being risky to go afk.

Here is another suggestion i had to deal with exploiters/botters

Yeah? But something like this can happen.

“Hahaha!!! Once I kill this monster I will get a level up, take this last hit!”
Duel request pops up
Press Z
Duel begins
“Nooooooooooooooo!!!”

Sometimes I leave my character afk in the town, or in safe zone on maps with the AFK motto on the head…

Why ruin a perfectly good idea with an auto function? Bots don’t generally agree or disagree, so fix the problem there without assuming things. Requesting a duel or a trade should stop the character from being able to auto attack. Simple. In practice, this would stop bots from attacking, and if you do it to troll someone all they have to do is click no. Putting it on a timer would eliminate persistent trolls, so why not limit the amount of trade/duel requests to twice every 120s?

@pseudo
but there are sadistic people like me who may want to ruin their AFK/bot sessions.

Putting a timer on it does nothing, the most powerful trolls run in packs. Theyll rotate lol

And the current duel function is already used to troll players there is a few threads on it. And i believe there is a small cd on it already is there not?

Hahaha, I have an idea.
If the player is attacking for a long time, could spawn a monster and cast Death Sentence on the player,
if the player does not kill it before the bar reachs the end…
Beside I guess the monster’s dumb AI would cause problems to this idea.
